He is moody but look! What a beautiful python! I like his blue coloured head and the light yellow on his body!! I love him!
he is around 3.3 feet in lengh, 2-3 years old, It will grow more and more!

Nope, different sub-family. Boelen's are from Morelia and Whitelipped are from Leiopython.
I like the Whitelipped much better... gorgeous snake!

I think they're pretty neat pythons. I've heard that the black ones are a bit more easy going. Any truth to that?

You are right! The balck type come from south are said they are a bit calm. But it depend on indivisiual. There is very aggresive balck type sometimes and there is very gentle gold/brown(nothern type, my snake)sometimes. It`s case by case.. It is a personality thing.
Luckly, mine is very calm most of the time.
Huhuhuhu.. There is secret tecnique to making them to be good temper.
I did that and he is very gentle now! :)

Mine is a Wild-caught, but quite gentle, can handle.
I think you can buy CB Black typed Whitelipped python(Southern type).
They are much more docile.
Recently I really see them in a shop and they are normal CB2005-2006 which is mean very young.
I prefer Northern one. Mine`s Northern! :)

Re: Whitelip! lip!
Absolutely gorgous white lip......
Right now I have 3.4 gold phases and 1.1 black phases....the black phases are definetly more tame than the gold phases are..But at the end of the day, bloody knuckles from white lips are what counts right? lol
Best of luck with your guy.....
