    Clawed frogs :)
Here are some of our female ACFs. They live on our 125g tank with Oscars and other fish.

    Moo Moo!

I love ACFs. :) I used to raise them, but they all died years ago. My friend still has one that she's "trained" to come above water and eat the little food stick out of a spoon. :giggle: They always look like they're smoking little cigars when they leave the little food stick hanging out of their mouths. :D

    Do the males look different?

Other than size- no, I don't think so.

Yes, males look different. Other than being smaller, they have black markings on their hands that make them look like they are wearing gloves(but only on the inside).

Yup; males have that black marking on their hands. :)
The Oscars do not bother them. We have had this tank for a few years now like this with not so much as a bite mark on anyone. We feed the Oscars on the cichlid pellets, and the frogs congregate under and beside them and eat the food that they disperse when they chew. I think what it is, is the 2 Oscars we have are not that aggressive; I have had some in the past that would have gladly devoured the fish by now. But it really is weird with Oscars; some are as docile as anything.
I have 5 frogs in all; I will eventually get pics of everyone; 1.2 albino and 1.1 normal.

sweet I raised several back in the day but didn't keep them with other fish. They would eat ANYTHING! gobble gobble! I had a pair that looked like they where mating and where locked up for a while but never got any eggs. Very cool.

i tried to put some in with my south american tank and my jacks ate them. i was so bummed. the guy at the store said they would be fine. but as usual he was just trying to make a sale.

Honda: sounds good in the feeding department. It is always fun to experiment too; I sometimes feed mine a few live crickets (when the frog is already looking to the top of the water; I drop it in and "gulp." Mine eat mostly Tetra's JumboMin cichlid food; they clean up the copious amounts that the Oscars spit out while feeding. :)
I like live feeders, aslong as they are from a clean source; I don't like buying from overcrowded feeder tanks..
Albinos are pretty popular really. I guess that people prefer breeding them because they are "something different" but then they become more popular than the normals!
Tek: mine "embrace" often also. They do breed sometimes, but I let them and the tank inhabitants eat the eggs. I raised some of their years back; out of thousands I got roughly 40 frogs. The tads are TINY with a capital T.. and they are susceptible to planarian and other water-"bug" infestations.

Sorry about that. :( I don't recommend them to be housed with most fish; we just gave it a wing here, and a few years later there have been no problems with any frog amputations or deaths. :)
