#19, What is that snake on to get that good of contrast in that picture without photoshop? I don't want to question if it was done in photoshop, I just want to know how to get such a perfect background? It looks amazing.

It looks like black velvet to me. I don't know how much detail you can see on your computer, but I can actually see bits of dust and what might be the nap of the velvet.
It does make for a stunning albino background! :D

That pic was not photoshopped, very easy to get a background like that. heres a pic that was shot on a black plastic sweater box rack. you can lay down a piece of black velvet also.;)

That sucks, they had the other poll running down the side of the one poll and I ended up voting for a bp I hadn't seen rather than the herp I was attempting to vote for!:(

Wow! Tough competition this month!
They are all beautiful..I think I'll have to find a better picture to submit next month. Congrats to everyone that is participating. We have some stunning BPs on this forum

I had a hard time choosing this month (as usual). Pic # 7 is awesome -absolutely great shot. I'm always trying to figure if I should vote for what I think is the best pic or should I vote for the quality of the snake as represented in the pic. This month I voted for the snake - #3.

Tons of normals have won the monthly BPOM. Actually I usually vote for the quality of the photo or how appealing it is to me personally, regardless if it's a normal or a morph. :)

#6 is without a doubt the sharpest clearest picture in the bunch...But. I think a creative pose is a strong determining factor. would like to add that this is a great bunch of pictures. :sweeet:
