Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
Ok..so I am assuming that when anything happens to your child we all take it to heart..run through our minds saying "should of..." Beating ourselves up over and over again and so on...And I think it hits harder when you are a stay at home mom...really ya have one job...keep your child safe! And then when something happens you really take it hard..or atleast I did. being a stay at home mom and a young one at that I attempt to shatter the mold that young parents suck...things like this really dont help me out lol. But hey..if this is the worst thing to ever happen well then were blessed...but still it sucked big time to get the "where were you?" over and over again by every single person that saw her tiny lil finger I responded "high as a kite at the bar of course!!!" (kidding!!! I was at home with her like always...she is 2...anyone who has a 2 year old knows how quick they move and how little time they need to get into something huge!) So enough yacking...I have a set of those show time knives that chop down trees...cut cars in half and what they forgot to say "slice fingers off children" yeah I know thats standard with all knives...I was getting dinner started and had to use the bathroom (I know how dare I try to crap in peace hu?) And she pulled her chair up to the counter...got her lil hands on a nice sportsman knife out of the block (which was never used so ultra sharp still) and attempted to cut an onion...she missed....
Here's the knife after the fact..

What I saw when I came out of the bath room

https://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil...bloodclose.JPG
Then her..after the paramedics came..after the 3 hours in the hospital at 11pm we got home..7 stitches later she is smiling lol...stitches are out now...the dates are wrong on the pictures..wasnt really thinking about setting the date/time at that point :P
https://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil...rfaceshot2.JPG
this happend 1 month ago..her finger healed well....obviously there is a nice scar...would post the picture of the wound its self but I duh know how family friendly that is :P
She did well through out it all..didnt cry but yeah I was sent into a heavy shock when I came around the corner..seeing her shaking on her lil chair blood dripping at her feet..her lil blue eyes HUGE...I sat in the chair holding her hand between us and singing to her until the paramedics came (I was to shakin to drive at first..I calmed down and did drive her after a bit if calming down) I've worked in vet hospitals and even hospitals and have seen larger amounts of blood then this and way worse scenes then this...but something about seeing your baby hurt can knock a grown person out...

Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
oh frig you CANNOT blame yourself for that one. it was in the knife block for goodness sake!
i'm so glad to hear she's fine and you lived through it.
-
Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
I was older, but I've DONE THAT. I wanted a piece of cheese so used the butcher knife to cut a piece off of the longhorn (a huuuuuuuge round of cheddar...about 5# new). It skipped off the top and cut a vein in my finger. :O
I TOTALLY understand!!!
Now that you know she's energetic and imaginative enough to work it out and to solve problems like that, you can take steps to prevent it happening again.
Sooooooooo glad to hear tho' that the finger's healed up well w/o any complications. Accidents happen. But now you can take preventative steps.
The bad parent is one who lets things like that happen over and over and not do anything about it.

Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
when i was six and my dad was doing some fix-up work on the house I got my hands on his hammer and tried to help him when he wasn't looking. I now have a plastic knuckle... no bueno. i know it's not quite the same, but a memory is a memory. lol.
I'm worried about that one day when I have kids. Not only do I love animals, but I collect knives as well, and in doing so keep them shaving ultra-fine hair sharp. I guess a small safe is gonna be in my future.
-
Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
Yeah its nuts what kids will get into and that some things you dont see as a problem until something happens to prove other wise...thankfully nothing HUGE happend..needless to say she knives are on top of the fridge and I cant reach them :( LOL
She is an amazing little girl with 9.75 fingers now LOL no really it isnt that bad..I need to get a picture of it all healed now...

Oh same here...that sadly went out the window when we had her...I was raised around weapons and never even thought about touching them...but it scared the hell out of me when we had our own child with all the horror stories you hear out there now.
And I to was really active and hands on...I never got stitches but do have alot of scars (I'm sure I needed stitches for a few of them lol) I am shocked that she got her first stitches at 2 and I got my first at 20. This can only be a bad sign lol.
I was an outside kid so most of my stuff was stepping on nails...falling from trees...and a couple bad knife accidents....
Brian also had a run in with a knife..he was cutting some lettuce and went to core it..the knife slipped and went right through his thumb (this was 4 years ago) he had to go in for surgery because it sliced the tendon *sp...then do 6 weeks of physical therapy...he still cant use it well..they said they would need to go in and cut the tendon again and have him do another round of therapy...he opted out and is hoping for the best...
Well here's to humans and sharp things!!

It's not too uncommon for me to get comments on my hands. They are not too pretty. I have a plastic knuckle (from a hammer), had the flesh on the outer edge of my palm sewn back on, and plenty of nicks. I have been around knives, and using knives since I was about 6-7 and went fishing for the first time and my dad tried to teach me how to fillet a fish. Now I can fillet a fish in about 30 secs and not miss any precious meat, however this is not the case when your age is represented by a single digit. Your (atleast my) eye-hand coordination does not lend to careful cuts. However, the majority of my little gashes are from using knifes that arn't incredibly sharp. When I do have kids, I am getting a locking safe, and PROPERLY teaching them how to handle and use knives. (and guns :D, I am a Texan afterall!)

Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
ahhh.... poor girl!i'm surprised she took it so well, most other 2 year olds would scream their heads off! on the bright side, she'll probably remember it for a little while at least....
-
Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
Exactly..that's what I am amazed by right now...her memory is insane!!! I really have to watch myself :P
It's just ind blowing every little thing she remembers...I'm in shock over childrens minds more then I ever thought I would be...

I hope to god I survive having a daughter...ya know 2 is bad...then there is 10..16...21..oh lord I'm dead....:crying:
But yeah it's just super hard...being younger and not fitting the mold of socker mom is rough on her and me of course...it seems alot of people (including my family) are waiting for me to fail...so when something like this does happen it seems that much worse...but ya know what? I'm young yeah..but I dont drink or do drugs...go out...leave her with strangers (hell I left her for the first time 3 weeks ago..and that was with my inlaws LOL..it was time for me to have a vacation 2.5 years with her daily was breaking me down :P) I might just be the mose boring 23 year old you have ever met...I feel 70  I'm just working hard to give her a child hood that is sound and normal..what I wanted...I think right now and ever since I had her I have been fighting to either change into what people want to see a mom be or stick to my guns and be me... its easier for me to slap on a long sleeved shirt (i have visible tattoos on my arms) dress down and go to the park or where ever and actually meet people and talk to people...then it is to go as me... at the same time I am teaching Raigen that she has to change herself to please others which is not what I want her to do...yet sadly she see's me do it often. I'm tired of hearing "you cant do *whatever* because your a mom now" I'm a mom now...but I'm not dead yet! Ah damn this thread hit nerve..I'll stop ranting and go bake some cookies and iron her clothes now :P

Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
Be you and stick to your guns! It may seem hard sometimes but its worth it in the end. The feeling you get from not caring is sometimes the best because you never feel like you've betrayed yourself. I felt that way once and I realized that if you're you others will appreciate you and the pride you have from being you. (I know thats a lot of "you"s in a sentence sorry)

LOL of I agree... it's just hard when you think "ok..this is me and thats ok...but being me effects my toddler who doesnt see anything wrong with the world and doesnt have a choice" ya know? It's hard...but what I live by is..if you judge me by my looks then your really missing out and your not the sort of person I would want to be around or have my child around...
I hope she also grasps on to this idea when she is older...she has a beautiful spirit so I think she will...i love that lil brat

Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
I know people who judge a book by it's cover so to speak and miss out because of that and I also people who have lost their identity by trying to conform to the american eagle, hollister, cool persona. I hope your little girl doesn't have to deal with that but it sounds like she has a good mom to learn from so there probably won't be any problems.

Thanks! I also wonder if she will turn out cookie cutter preppy kid lol...knowing my luck she would and that would crack me up...although then I might be that embaressing mom...ah crap :P

Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
Or she could end up the way I did, hiding a piercing from my parents and in the "badass" crew full of metalheads, druggies, freaks, alchies, hippies, and petty thieves. Take your pick :P

Oh trust me by 15 I was hiding alot more then 1 piercing :P I actually had alot of piercings they didnt find out about until I moved out... they did find out about a couple because some pictures leaked...dont ask.. and I had to remove them for some time... I was generally good kid..I didnt get arrested (because I never got caught) never skipped school (It was more fun to stay in school and drink) and made good grades (some how) and worked etc. I did hang out with a crappy crowd (the punks and emo kids) but just like now never let anyone rub off on me... To each his own...I just hope she is happy and becomes who she wants to be....not what America says she should

Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
Glad she's ok, I've got a kid on the way and I know how you feel. I'm 20 and my wife is 19. Besides wanting to prove everyone wrong on the "young marriages never work" we also want to show that we can be great parents. I have experience though! My sister was a horrible parent and basically popped out 3 kids and gave them to my mother, who was working two jobs to make ends meet, and I was working one job to help out, going to school, and then it was my job to take care of the kids. So I've got the basics down. Although I can't blame you, it'd be everything I could not to pass out if I saw that much blood had come outta my baby! **shudders**
I'm glad she's ok, show us pictures of her scar! Too bad you didn't get a picture of the wound! **shrugs** guess I'm just a normal, guy, I love the accident photos, my friend recently got his hand bit by his 3ft long caiman. He got his hand out (eventually) but talk about a wound! Nasty photo, but like train wrecks, I cant look away!

You'd be surprised at how screwed up the american education system is if you honestly thought it was possible to not make good grades in HS... lol:salute:

Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
Yeah I'm barely squeaking by after I figured out that school is no fun sober. Maybe I'll try sobriety. Also, I am getting a couple more piercings done soon (once I'm done swimming and have a good chance at hiding them). Also lacrosse season has to end.

Almost married my HS sweetheart, but my parents were going to cut me off and I kinda need their financial support to get into vet school. Then when I started dating my current gf my ex tried everything in the book to win me back. Lets just say I have little respect left for her at all. I hate to admit it but I was too young to make that decision... but that is not to say others (such as yourself) are/were. Let's just say I'm not too good at making relationships last more than 6 months...
-
Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
Seeing as my record barely makes 6 weeks consider yourself lucky!!
Most people find me a little weird but whatever
p.s. Gooseman, Lacrosse is the BEST I play at least 3 nights a week plus coaching 10 year olds. (both box and field)

If my calculation is correct your a freshman in HS correct? Then don't worry, I didn't have a relationship last more than 2 months until second semester junior year.
haha, people find you weird? I'm prescribed 35mmg of Adderal Xr daily, and my parents don't even believe in ADHD. lol :rolleye2:

Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
Yeah, I was with my ex for nearly 4 years and at no point did marriage ever enter my mind, (well, not without OH DEAR GOD NO, RUN, RUNNNNN!) but with Ashley, I had known her less than two weeks and knew that she was the girl I wanted to marry. She felt the same way, and we acctually got married before we had even known each other 6 months.
I dont regret any of it and never will. I feel like the luckiest man ever and still wonder how I landed a beautiful, smart, funny girl who's also my best friend.
**mushyness off**
So yeah, lets go um, look at cars and guns and snakes and other manly stuff!
**scratches, farts, and burps**
There, thats better, now wheres my football!

Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
Awww poor wee one! Hon, being a young mom sets you up for censure if you let it get to you but the fact is every one of us that's a mom face this stuff from others. Have a kid toss a fit in the grocery store and sorry to say no one is going "where is that child's father?", they always look to the mother, it's just part of our society. At some point we all have to do just our best and shrug off the "advice" of others if it's nothing but derogatory.
I had my first baby at 26 (so not a "young" mom) and my last at just shy of 40. I grew up in a large family full of babies and I did a heck of a lot of babysitting. This should have set me up to be the perfect mom right. Yay right! LOL Toddlers will give you grey hairs, you will forget what a private bathroom trip was all about and you become jumpier than a sniper on the roof hon. Something moves, you hear a funny sound, you are in "where's the baby???" mode.
My older son (whose survived thus far to almost age 16 without doing permanent damage to himself) before he was three had the following ever so fun trips to the ER....
- stitches to chin
- stitches in his head
- checked for concussion
- butterfly break to his lower leg
Believe me hon I wanted to bring in his two sisters and go "see they are okay, I'm a good mom, this boy is WILD!". He climbed before he could walk, had no concept of gravity and I literally ended up having to take him to the bathroom with me since he always did this stuff as soon as someone was taking a pee. Oh and he never crawled or toddled...he went from sitting on his butt to racing down the hallway. Apparently Luke's idea back then of how to put the brakes on was to find something hard enough to stop him *sigh*
My oldest daughter, Kayte. Lovely child, never gave me the fits her brother would one day. We're moving when she's in sixth grade, I send her to a neighbour to play and get out of my hair for a few hours. 10 minutes later I'm at a dead run to the neighbour's because she now has a very badly broken arm (yay for trampolines...grrrr). Ortho surgery and we moved with a kid in a still warm cast. Couple years later...she's in girls hockey...sports are good for kids right?. Well hello there Dr. Ortho man! They did do a lovely job reconstructing her left hand. *sigh*
One day my younger daughter asked me when it was her "turn" to have a cast. I still don't think she understood the look I gave her LOL!
I mention this honey just to illustrate that no matter what you do you can only do so much. You can set up their lives as safely as possible and of course you should but things do happen. We can't wrap them in cotton wool and in the end they recover much faster than our nerves ever do.
-
Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
my two year old got her first stitches at 18 months she was running and tripped fell face first into the corner of our 55g tank and got 5 stitches on her forehead above her left eye
-
Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
Further incidents in my extended family (just so you know this happens to everyone!)....
- niece fell while running, smacked right into the corner of the stone fireplace and her parents got to spend Xmas Eve in the ER department
- various family members with fishing hook extractions (we like to fish and apparently occasionally cast badly)
- little sister vs coffeetable edge
- nephew vs hot motorcycle exhaust pipe (and this was with at least 5 adults right there...kids are FAST!)
- various and sundry sports related accidents including a tree almost falling on me while playing goal tender
- bikes with failed brakes, snowmobiles with failed brakes, ever so slightly impaired driving of lawnmower (sort of a la George Jones), oh and dirtbikes don't climb trees (neither do skidoos but tell that to my brother Jim will ya! )
We're kind of like the Kennedy clan....well without the vast amounts of money and snooty accents that is. :) (but then they don't have our cool collection of dead animal heads that apparently in my extended family are a must have decorating accent for any cottage)
My poor granny, the matriarch of the family, would just shake her head, get out the bandaids and that awful stingy stuff, put on the tea and mutter to herself that none of us would be happy till we'd killed ourselves "deed" LOL
-
Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
OMG!
I just have to know how you are still alive! Judging by the pictures...if I would have walked around the corner and seen all that blood and my lil one in the middle I think I would have had a heart attack!!! That looks so scary! ok...well maybe not a heart attack but maybe I would have gone into shock! That is one of the things I fear most in my house is the kids and knives. The second being a fire.
I am glad she is doing well and so are you! :)
nice documentation also!

Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
It's amazing really MeMe how your instincts just kick in. I've done the drive to the ER, one hand on the wheel, the other applying compression to that spurting head wound (darn but anything above the shoulders bleeds like a stuck pig!). I always find I'm okay during any emergency, then need a moment to quietly fall apart once I know things are under control or someone else in now in charge.

HAHA OMG MEMORY FLASHBACK!!!
We have a sort of rougue bike park built in the woods inside a local park away from prying eyes and liability waivers. Well, lets just say I used to be a huge mountain biker back in middle school and one time when I brought a girl I was interested in, I sorta lost concentration mid jump as I was looking at her instead of where I was going to land my bike... I went smack into a tree. Let's just say as I flew off my bike my knee cap somehow got caught on my handle bars and I have a pretty nasty scar on my right leg where they had to sew it back on... Be careful around women, they just may inadvertantly kill ya! :wuv::stupidme:

yea..your right. That just looks scary.
My son is accident prone. He has had stiches 3 times...his head, lip and hand...broke his wrist, jammed his 2 front teeth back into his gums (that was horrible!) and many other *small* injuries. He is also asthmatic and has been rushed to the er for asthma attcks. He was diagnosed at 3 months with asthma. though they like to wait till they are about a year (from what I was told) but with my family history and all his illnesses they said they were 100% sure it was asthma.
So needless to say in reality I porbably would have just done the same she did. ;)

I went smack into a tree. Let's just say as I flew off my bike my knee cap somehow got caught on my handle bars and I have a pretty nasty scar on my right leg where they had to sew it back on... Be careful around women, they just may inadvertantly kill ya! :wuv::stupidme:
Ben please check for another scar. I think you and my brother Jim may have been seperated at birth! :P (most of my brother's idiot stunts somehow always semed to involve fast vehicles and fast women LOL)

Joanna...I love your writting it cracks me up!!! Glad I am not the only one that see's the great humor in everything...
Yeah Brian works 16 hour days/nights so it's super hard I'm like "I do have a husband ya know...some where...havent seen him in what seems like days...but he's out there!!" Its hard feeling like a single parent on top of all this...but I'm doing it..kicking butts and taken names...what other choice do you have? Either be a stand up parent...everyone strives to be better then their own in some way..or be the parent on Dr. Phil...although some days I think "yep I'm the parent on the Dr. Phil"..all wire haired...big eyes...yelling like a maniac. I think I'm doing well though...I think better then most at times which I'm sure no other mom would admit to...
So far her trips to the hossy were as follows.
-Mysterious vomiting..followed by low grade fever...the runs...and was non responsive...this was at 6 months old...we sat in the waiting for for 14 hours (If you think I'm lieing I'll send you the papers!!) She threw up off an on for awhile until she becamse severly dehydrated and stopped...thats when she became really really scarey and would just lay in here car seat eyes glazed over not looking at anything...whose 6 month old relaxes??? The hospital said they thought it was a bug and sent us home..no testing was done....
3 hours later and an hour drive to another hossy after it started all over she was hospitalized in the pediatric critical care unit because she was doing so bad (thanks to the lack of help at the other hospital) 3 days later we came home...never figured out why...but it had stopped after being on an IV for 3 days....
the worst part is I was out of town...away from my hubby...visiting my Grandmothers who cant sit in a hospital all day...so I was alone and scared to death...sitting there watching your baby get more and more sick and knowing you are doing everything you can short of taking a hostage and forcing them to look at her was killing me...I cried more then her..I didnt eat for those 4 days or shower because our hospital room didnt have one and I didnt want to leave my lil baby alone to go any where...
1 month later that happend again....sitting in the hospital I figured it out..each time this happend I had given her a milk based rice cereal...BINGO I ran to the specialist and forced themto run every allergy test they could...it was milk ..I should get paid for my services...
What is scarey is with the above symptoms...no hospital every ran a tox panal on her...what if I was poisoning her?? Or she got into something deadly while I wasnt looking?? That scared me when I thought "omg how many kids come in here in that situation and dont get treated?"
So now we watch the milk...because thats exactly what happens with her MIlk Allergy..
The next time we were in we had a friend staying with us for a bit of time and he chewed tabacoo :puke: well she got into the spit cup and got it all over her..I had to take her in just to make sure she didnt drink any  They were nice about it but "why did you let her get into it?" really pisses me off.....
I'm just tired of people thinking they have to tell you how to do things... she is 2.5 I think I got it down pat by now thanks!!!! I mean hell she got her first cut at 2.5...I think were doing ok LOL.
I did get into with an old lady at Publix (grocery store) not to long ago..yes I smoke...I know its horrible...I did stop the second I found out I was pregnant and didnt start for over a year after (she nursed...and still tries to :P)
I was buying smokes and this old woman behind me felt it to be her duty to inform me that they are bad..who knew? "ya know those are horrible...and you have a baby..those lead to alot worst things then cancer" and I said "yeah like hooking and crack?" she wasnt happy with that but I did respond "ma'am if smoking is the worst thing I do in this life then I'm a fantastic person"
So lay off people...when you see a parent she does NOT need advice...unless she asks first!!!!

I am glad she is doing well and so are you! :)
nice documentation also!
Ok after the fact I realized it wasnt THAT bad ya know..but I heard her make a noise I had never heard before...came around the corner saying "Raigen it's ok whats up?" and stopped....my mind went blank...I couldnt tell you exactly what went on next if I had to...I remember comng over..not screaming just "omg omg omg omg omg" in a low town over and over...I got her...put her hand between me and her and pressed us together while I ran for a cloth ... I have a basket of clean clothes on my kitchen counter...my mind couldnt figure that out so I grabbed my husbands dirty sleeping shirt LOL gross...
I grabbed the phone and called 911 which was a PITA I do remember yelling at the woman..she kept saying "speak up I cant hear you over the child" "I cant put her down so just listen!!!" I sat there in the chair once I hung up with her singing to her as she rested her head on me...blood was pouring out and I thought "I'm singing my child to the other side" yeah I had a moment of insanity! That's when I started crying alot :( I was home alone like always with her...middle of the night way out in the boon-docks...scared to death...but we made it through thank god...and yeah I drove her after the paramedics came..I just wanted to make sure she wasnt going to bleed out in my back seat...I would of drove holding her if I had to ... but wanted someone to tell me if she would be ok...they did say "holy hell its a blood bath in here" the shirt is really bad I should of gotten pictures of the shirt I used to wrap it...and our clothes...I came into the ER and it looked like I killed someone lol.

I always have a "moment of insanity" whenever one gets hurt. I always think the worst but I really know it will all be ok. Now...with Kyle, I tell Jeff..."You wanna take him this time cause I did the last trip!" lol. we are alternating.
O and when Cait was 3 months old she had nursemaid elbow and we found out one morning when we woke up and she could not move her arm at all and was screaming in pain. She slept with us most of the time and I thought Jeff had rolled onto her in the night and broke it! I didn't think he had as he isn't a rough sleeper. So when I get to the hospital they run all these tests and x-rays and determine it was nursemaid elbow. But before that they were all jumping my case for having her in the bed with us. I was FIT! I mean she was my 3rd child and I have 5 sibs and I am the 2nd oldest so I kinda know a lil about taking care of kids. lol. She finally grew out of it by around 4 years of age. Thank God!

One of the things you learn hon after a few kids is you are the expert, not the doctors, not the teachers...you. You know your child best and your instincts are almost always right on the button. I remember with Kate she was prone to really bad ear infections and had a very high tolerance for pain. When the daycare called me that she was actually complaining about her eye, my mom radar went off big time! Raced her to the doctor's office and this witch of a receptionist starts giving me a hard time about not having an appointment (yes you witch I usually have my daughter plan her earaches!). By this time Katie is screaming in pain so I sat my butt down right beside the witch's desk and sweetly told my daughter to holler as loud as she liked, momma knew her ear hurt! Needless to say the other patients offered their appointments, my wonderful doctor came out to see what the noise was and immediately took Kate in. He knew she rarely gave any sign of ear pain. Turns out her inner ear was in horrible shape and had we not got on it that day she likely would have ended up with severe hearing loss. Oh and shortly thereafter witchie poo lost her job (neener freakin neener  ).
When it comes to injuries and bleeding, I try to remember my granny's loving words....
"OH FOR GAWD'S SAKES DON'T BLEED ON THE GOOD CARPET!!!"
lol
p.s. My older sister says you know you are a parent when you willingly allow your child to puke on you because hey you are easier to clean than the carpet!
p.s.s. If you don't laugh, you cry or lose your mind. :)

Re: Toddler Vs. Knife Round one! *ding* DUW
Oh god I hear ya..I have never heard of nursemaid elbow  And Raigen coslep with me and Brian for a year and I wish to god some nights she would still do it (I miss cuddling my baby..smelling milk breath all night and peering into those big blue eyes first thing in the morning...I do not miss sleeping on my side to nurse her the WHOLE night or not being able to stya up late :P )
And yes we are the experts...I think that's the biggest thing..fighting to not seem like a know it all yet standing up for the fact that no one in this world will ever know your child like you do...I was freaking out because she was 6 months old at the hospital that first time...she was and still is high needs...I could never put her down...put more miles on my maya wrap (my sling I love to death) then any car I have ever owned...I even had to shower with her on my hip!!! She would scream in the car because I was out of sight etc. etc. yet here she was sitting in her car seat(which she hated) just blank and not making a sound...I knew she was sick as hell yet they didnt seem to think a thing was wrong with her and had the balls to contact me for my payment! I called the news on them and told them there is nothing worse in this world then a pissed off mom....they dropped the payment ;)
I keep telling Raigen that one more trip to the hospital and social workers will be knocking on my door lol
