Welcome to TWO NEW MODS!!!

Hey Everybody!!!

Today, we're bringing two new mods onto the staff! It's my pleasure to announce that both Evan Jamison and Derek (dr del) have agreed to accept our invitation.

It's our belief that these two gentlemen will be excellent additions to the staff and can only help to make BP.net an even better place to be!

Y'all be kind to the new guys!! :P

It is a very liquid,flowing tongue with more than a hint of the heather and midden (appologies to terry pratchett for the paraphrasing and plagarising).

The first lines easy enough to bend to the english shackles;

"congratulations to the two of you" is close but lacks the implied slap on the back and celebratory ale.

the second line is trickier;

literally it's "long may your chimmneys smoke" ah but the real meanings buried in the fact that the house with reek coming out of it was a warm safe place.

Scots have a wonderfull array of sounds to call on - the sound of two argueing glaswegians is oft compared to a dog fight.:D

I was going to post a link for Scottish vernacular but there were too many rude words in it LOL. Suffice to say if they offer you a "glasgow kiss" say no thanks and run...if they refer to you as "hen" they actually like you (well only if you are girl of course)....if they don't like you are you are an "eejit" (that's pretty much covers both males and females and is about the nicest of the clean stuff I could post here, scots love to cuss)....and don't start a "kerfuffle" or be caught "fartin aboot" or you might get a them "crabbit" and then you are in big trouble!

Now someone please pass me a tattie scone! :)
