    Doctor Visit - 10 weeks!
So Ashley and I went to the Doctor today. She had an ultrasound and they determined her to be 10 weeks and the Due date to be Nov 22. Yes we know that due dates are only accurate 1 in 20 and we're not expecting that exact date but it's nice to have an idea :)

We're very excited! The baby was tiny, 3.65 cm so just shy of 1.5 inches long :)

I have a cute little alien looking child! haha :)

Sorry, a happy first time father just gloating! I hope it's a boy :) We're going to do the old wives tales male/female test tomorrow. We have a book on it and we'll see what happens. :)

I kinda dont wanna know. I think it'd be cool to get surprised, but when I mentioned that to ashley, I got a death glare!:soapbx::fork::groinkick::bolt::shh:

Alas, I can't wait! We'll see how it all works out!

I promise, by the 25th week, you'll be tearing your eyeballs out from not knowing what it is.

even though the heart was beating you couldn't really tell with the ultrasound. It wasn't supposed to be the official, look at your baby ultrasound, it was supposed to be more of a lets make sure your baby is ok because she had had a cramp ultrasound. We're supposed to be getting a more in depth one later that will let us hear a heartbeat, and so on. :)

I'll be even more excited about that one!

I have known with all of my children (2.1). However, the ultrasound apparently doesn't detect hell spawnishnesss. Congrats, BTW.

ROFLMAO aint that the truth. I'm 2.0.1, due in July. I knew with my boys that I was having boys before the ultrasound confirmed it. this one is different and the ultrasound tech says it looks like a girl to her.. heh.. here comes hell all dressed in pink. :D

Congrats though. It is scary, but exciting and fun. All the best.

Nothing could stop me from eating gummy bears, they're my favorite candy! lol

Hell I'd probly make jokes while eating them about how they're the size of my baby!

Congrtas to you both....best feeling in the world that is ....then they crawl , which is cool , then they walk which is scary , then they TALK after that they OWN ya ....seriously tho . I have two girls and a wife ( which kinda makes sense and helps , lol ) I would not change it for the world .

BTW sheds make great sanctuaries , and ya can get more balls in there , as it were , lol or ya could go ' yes dear ' and it be all ok .

Believe me, there will be MORE then enough surprises in store after it's born that gender will seem like pretty small stuff. Before I had kids, I always thought it would be nice to have one of each. I ended up with two boys, but they are as different from each other as night and day so I ended up with two different types anyway.
