Re: P. cambridgie slings
Holy cow you have an AWESOME macro! Those pics are awesome. (and I'm am NOT a spider fan, so that's saying something) Do they try to bite, and if they do can you even feel it?

Re: P. cambridgie slings
ewwww! I can feel little tingles everywhere now

Re: P. cambridgie slings
There just aren't words to explain the mix of emotions and creepy-crawly sensations rushing through me at the moment! But I can definitely echo Christie's sentiments.....aMAAAzing pictures!!! Wow!!!

Re: P. cambridgie slings
WOW. Makes me want to breed spiders! :)
-
Re: P. cambridgie slings
Thanks:) yes, they try to bite but their fangs are so small they can't penatrate skin. This was a surprise sack and I was not prepared. I don't think I want to breed T's again, I have 106 vials on my shelf and need 30 more.
I can't wait until they are big enough to sell.

The ones I didn't have vials for, around 35. They will get seperated into baby food jars later today.

Just a little reminder in this fascinating thread: Please keep all sale inquiries to PMs.

Re: P. cambridgie slings
I going to guess fruit flies for food. (if I'm right do I win a cookie? :please: )
My son think they look like his plastic spiders, and honestly.... they do! Now I'm a bit creeped out to go sifting through his toy box.

Re: P. cambridgie slings
If you think babies are creepy then what about mom?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...s/DSC00226.jpg
They aren't eating yet but when they start I will feed tiny crickets, maybe some fruit flies.

Re: P. cambridgie slings
For some reason, ONE big spider isn't nearly as bad as the thought of being swamped with tons of tiny ones crawling all over. Of course that's just me.
How long until their first meal?
-
Re: P. cambridgie slings
Ok my hair itches now... Thanks... shivers

Re: P. cambridgie slings
yeah although momma is big and scary, the babies gettin everywhere and growing up in some corner of my house would freak me out because aren't cambridgei one of the faster and more aggressive species? I don't know that much, the only T i would ever consider are Antilles pink toes just because theyre so damn cool.
And I second that, how long till the first meal for the little ones?
-
Re: P. cambridgie slings
Yes, they are one of the more aggressive species and fast doesn't nearly describe how they move.
They will start eating after their next molt, in a couple weeks.
Pink toes are really cool T's, I have a couple.
