    meet Buster
Well tonight my girlfriend and I went to pick up my new dog, Buster. I am not sure on lineage, but the vet says his guess is 75% pit bull, 25% lab. We are not sure because this is a rescue for me. It was left tied to a friend of mine's vehicle on Friday the 13th and she was looking to rehome ASAP. I took him in and he is the calmest dog I have ever seen. She likely came from a neglected home and possibly abused because she is so timid towards humans. She is estimated at around 6-8 months old ATM.

aww: What a cutie. Congrats on taking him in! Rescues make the best pets.

(I also moved this to the pets sections too ;) )

Thanks Christie. I was going through posting on all the forums I go to and none have a pet section. They all have O/T so I was not even thinking

"She" is cute as can be! What a sweet face. Please get "her" neutered ASAP so she has one less reason to stress out! :-)

I definitely see a little pit, but not 100% and maybe not even 75%. Whatever he is, he's a great-looking dog.

haha it is tough for me to say him. My girlfriend's dog and her parent's dog are both girls so I am used to saying she.

He's adorable... and he's some kind of pit something... he could be "full" from a byb... either way, he's awesome! Congratulations on the new addition! Just keep in mind "how cute is this behavior going to be 30 pounds from now" :D It'll save you some work "retraining"...
