Is this snake a MORPH? The Thread!
I have been getting a lot of emails and pms asking if a snake is a morph. So i have decided to post a thread where you can post pictures of snakes in question. Also if you have questions about the different snake traits (from the Hunter's Guide) post them here...
Hope this helps
Jon

Re: Is this snake a MORPH? The Thread!
Not sure but was told by someone that produced calicos for the past 2 years that she was a low intensity calico/sugar. will know in a couple months. ;)
I think I paid around $20.00 for her as a CH baby, so its gonna be fun to see if I hit a homer. still an awesome girl as a normal. :)

Re: Is this snake a MORPH? The Thread!
Even if she is a really bad one, I will love her the same as all the others. :(
The fact that shes been bred by my best lemon makes it a real interesting wait. :nirvana:

Re: Is this snake a MORPH? The Thread!
Very, very minor orange ghost.. or super, duper low-grade Pastel? (nope; just an orange ghost het. :)

I call Bela my "spotless." Not sure if it genetic, and ok, she does have one spot.. but if you think of it, this pattern is completely unlike a normal. No alien heads.. but yet, not really reduced, because there are no huge, flat areas of color without interruption.. maybe "clean?"
Her future boyfriend is a reduced Spider, for sure..!

And a few of mine that I think are Pieds..? ;)

Re: Is this snake a MORPH? The Thread!
I guess I'll post some of my strange "normals" up for everyone... love to hear what you all think... thanks.
first up is one I posted a little while back in another thread, this first pic is from when she was a little younger (about 350 grams) and now she's 600+ grams...
http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...thesteps02.jpg
and then here she is today. I hate that she's browning out a little, but she's still pretty unusual...
http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...el-4-20-07.jpg
hard to get in the picture, but the yellow glows down her sides and then is white on the belly...
http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...lly4-20-07.jpg
and then here's a 1,300 gram possible reduced pattern, spider wannabe... :)
http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...nia4-20-07.jpg
http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...ia4-20-072.jpg
and a 250 gram kind of wierd pattern, but with a lot of heavy blushing... every shed is bringing in more and more so it should be an AWESOME adult... at least that's what I'm hoping for... ;)
