    I was pretty confused for a while too! ^_^ Glad to know I'm not the only one...

    Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

    CB-captive born (eggs found in wild) <---this is the one I'm not completely sure about
    CBB-captive bred and born
    WC-wild caught

    And yes DU or DUW is ''dial up warning'', which is just warning the people that are using dial up that there are alot of pictures so it may take the page quite a while to load...all of those pics really screw with the dial-up!! (that's what we have at home so I don't get to look at all the pretties when I'm there...:P)

    Actually...

    1. CB = Captive Born
    2. CBB= Captive Born Baby
    3. CH = Captive Hatched ... Means wild female laid eggs in captivity and babies were hatched in captivity, but a lot of people refer to farmed babies (babies hatched in africa) as captive hatched.
    4. DUW = Dial Up warning
    5. WC = Wild Caught

    Shannon, it is my understanding that CB does mean captive born as you said, but not eggs found in the wild. That is usually referred to as "captive hatched - CH" or "farmed" as Jon mentioned above. CB usually means that the hatchlings are babies from a pair of snakes in captivity (being kept to breed and produce babies). Hope this helps.

    Haha true....and I learned to double check before I open my big mouth :P

    My mom still has dial-up at home. They are about a mile out of the closest DSL range or anything else other than dial up actually. My little brothe rthought he was doing to DIE when he found out at the new house he wouldn't have DSL...hehehe lil brat ^_^

    You could start a new thread in Off Topic with a poll. I'd be curious, too...but I know a few, at least, still do.

    Wow - it's intresting the differences in terminology used over here. Differences are;

    In europe,

    CB = captive bred (mother and father in captivity at time of breeding)
    CF = captive farmed (seems to cover 1 and 3 of the above list I think:confused: )

    There's no real point to this post just thought I'd share. :D

    LTC=long term captive

    Re: Couple quick questions
    That "LTC" can be really subjective. I've seen ads for LTC's and then found out they've been in captivity a couple of weeks or months. Not "long term/time" in my mind!
