    RIP Twitch
Twitch came into my life last April 22nd when I rescued him and his brother Tweak from some horrible owners.

I wasn't sure if they were even going to make it past a few days because they were so skinny and wouldn't eat. After over 2 weeks of force feedings a couple times a day they both started eating on their own and gaining weight. They thrived after being here for even a short time.

Twitch will always have a place in my heart because he is unforgetable. He was so different from the other ferrets. He was so tiny and always wanted to be under foot or even on your feet just looking up at you. He didn't like being picked up and would start dooking around like crazy if you placed him back on the floor, yet come back for more in seconds.

I'm not sure what it was that took him from me but I'm happy knowing his last year was a happy one.

I called my vet today to let her know that Twitch had died and she said it could have just been a natural death. She estimated him to be around 6 years old and ferrets really don't live much past that, some up to 8 years but it's not common.

I feel better knowing that she doesn't think I did anything wrong or missed any signs of illness.

Thanks everyone for your kind words :)
