Picked up my boy at NERD today, couple crappy pics.

Well, here is a couple pics of the little man just before I put him in his enclosure. From here on out I am just going to let him be until I try to give him a feed next Saturday. I took my wife and 19 month old son up for the tour and it was a blast. My wife who is pretty skittish about the whole snake thing made it through and actually said she had a blast and looks forward to going back up this summer when some of the big boys tortoises/monitors are outside in their pens. At one point a cricket crawled under my wifes pantleg and she screamed and had a convulsion,,,,,the things poor Kara has to deal with :D I was laughing my back side off. All in all it was just awesome and I look forward to many great years with the new addition to the family.

He's beautiful! Is he a normal male, or perhaps het for something?

nothing wrong with those pics! they are in focus and you can see that... yes indeed... it is a ball python! :D

Congrats on your new little boy! He's beautiful :) I'm so glad your wife had a good time, even though she's a little reptile-skittish! Does your boy have a name yet, or are you waiting to feel out his personality before he gets dubbed?

you are gonna be amazed at how fast he will outgrow your hand! So glad your family enjoyed meeting all the diverse reptiles at NERD....beware, your wife may decide she wants one too! (or three, or four!)
