    Great pics! I am sure that lizard (pics 3-4...looks like some sort of whiptail) was hard to catch....those guys are fast! Great coloration on the fence lizard too ;)

    your not kidding, those things are fast! i caught him at night and that little guy had fallen into a sprinkler hole near the hotel and i got him out.

    whats kinda funny is that i never found one under something natural like a log or rock. I found two banded geckos one was under an old tarp by some construction and the other was under a piece of cardboard someone left near the road along the desert.

    Yea, sometimes the best herpin is found by just flippen trash(old construction debris). one of my best spots to see ringnecked snakes is an area in the woods where someone dumped roofing shingles long ago and the snakes are living under that. :)
