First One of the Season!!! (***DUW***)

I came home today to find my 66% Het Albino's cage a complete mess. Water dish spilled, newspaper and cardboard all pushed to one side, and the birthing tub upside down. I smelled the air and just new I'd find babies under all that mess. I slowly started pulling out all the newspaper and crap to find this under it all:

She wasn't very happy about me messing with her babies, and because her cage is the bottom one, I wasn't about to start taking them out with her striking at me like crazy.

All in all the count was this:

14 Het albinos
0 albinos, which kills the het part for her...oh well
3 slugs
1 still born

Not too bad for a 14 month old coral albino male to do, if I must say so myself. If you all remember, he was pretty small compared to her...but he did the deed:

I hope you like them! I know I do, already got my eye on one or two for holdbacks. There is some crazzzy pink coloring on a few of them!

Awww how sweet. I love newly birthed boas! (probably wouldn't like the birthing smell or mess though or the overprotective momma snake lol)

That is sweet too bad you didn't get any albinos but hey it is still awesome anyways.

The smell is like sweet water, if that makes any sense at all. It smells actually sweet. The mess is...well...sticky! lol. The overprotective mama is not fun either, she almost got me two or three times....like dodging bullets!

They were born on my males B-day aswell. Once you get them sexed and feeding, we'll have to see which one i take.

Yeah, those are really neat. I like the ones that have the white stripe through their red saddles the most...those are killer looking!

I just took off the shirt and knelt down to "get'er done"! I was elbows deep in boa goop and loving every minute of it! haha

Oh lordy I think I'll stick to egg laying snakes!

beautiful babies, love the pics, but it kills me because I have a year to wait before my little girl is old enough. so congrats, and your pics make me really want boa babies.

I'm with you... 14 is HOT! But I kinda like 12 too for some reason.........

2 and 9 have some major pale coloring and pink sides. 3 and 10 have a full head stripe. 6 and 8 have a white stripe through their red saddles. They rock, I'm so proud!
