My new BP, nothing fancy but I love her :P
She's 38 inches, unknow gram as I dont have any scales.
Got her last wednesday, 4 days later I fed her a small rat and she took it :D
She's a CB from a local breeder, very friendly despite of clumsiness as a firsttime snake owner.
Rightnow she lives in a 20g with cold/hot caves and water bowls, maybe I'll get her a 30g in the long run.
I have a question though, how long after your snakes will she poop? She ate on the 8th but still no poop yet... :banned1:
Here are 2 pic from tonite's playtime. :P

Great snake! Mine "poop" :) around 5-7 days after feeding. Sometimes it does take longer depending on you temps. I wouldnt worry at all if if has only been 2 days.

Lovely girl you have there!
Don't worry too much about the poo...sometimes they can go weeks between poos.

I agree with you Jon I think that they should defecate in about 5 to 7 days after a big meal. Sometimes it takes longer so I wouldn't be worried!

Beautiful ball. I love the last picture. I find them SO adorable with just the tail of the rodent hanging out of their mouth.
Good luck with her, she looks happy and healthy!

nice snake! mine poops about once a month. dont worry
Re: My new BP, nothing fancy but I love her :P
Well heck she's a lovely snake and that's tons of "fancy" in my books! Congrats on getting her and that she ate for you first time out of the gate. :)
Didn't anyone tell you that ball pythons are addictive and you get a free cage of raging obsessive/compulsive disorder with every purchase? lol
Things you will worry about:
1) My snake has not pooped yet? (you're already there, welcome to the club)
2) My snake has pooped and is this a normal poop? (yes you will be so worried you'll find yourself taking pictures of snake crap, we've all been there, some of us have pics of our own snake's poop to share with you....and yes our friends and family now think we are quite nuts!)
3) My snake went into shed but now looks normal again? What the heck happened? There's no shed! (this one always gets the newcomers but thanks to Daniel we have a kick butt sticky on just that subject)
4) Nobody understands why I love my snake! (yep that's about par for the course dear, but we understand...on the upside it keeps irritating relatives away from your home :) )
5) My snake doesn't like me! It hissed/struck/bit me! (snake not puppy, just being a snake kinda deal)
6) I can't stop peeking at my snake, checking temps, fussing over humidity, worrying the hides are either too small or too big, fixating over whether I bought the right size mouse/rat! (that's where the nice case of OCD comes into play...again....welcome to the club! LOL)
Keep asking questions, it's the mark of a concerned keeper and we're here to help. :)
