A really great parking space can move you to tears.
Gas costs a dollar per gallon more than it does anywhere else in the U.S.
A man gets on the bus in full leather regalia and crotchless chaps. You
don't even notice.
Unlike back home, the guy at 8:30 am at Starbucks wearing the baseball cap
and sunglasses who looks like George Clooney IS George Clooney.
Your car insurance costs as much as your house payment.

I can't say I live in the wrong part of CA. Actually I think the north eastern part is best. We don't have all the weird stuff mentioned above with the exception of a couple things (High housing cost and what's up with legalizing pot?).

-We have a bus but it only runs like every couple hours (county transit).

-We don't worry about the rain and yes IT SNOWS IN CALIFORNIA (Ever hear of Lake Tahoe and Heavenly ski resort?).

-If you visit Yosemite (about 20 miles as a crow flies from me) you'll be ah struck with the beauty of the great Sierra Nevada mountains.

-I live in the only remaining "smog free" county, so yes there's smog is CA, it's just everywhere else.

-Oh and is pot illegal? I wouldn't know being an aircraft mechanic I couldn't do it even if I had a prescription.
