Finally got them to stay still (DUW)

Beautiful snakes! That rack is pretty nifty too. Did u build it or buy it? What size tubs are they? I'm trying to figure out what kind of rack to build next and I really like the looks of that one!

Thanks...As for the rack I built it. They are 31QT rubbermaid tubs (I have another one with 41QT tubs for the bigger girls and during breeding season)

I really like how this rack came out...it combines 15 slots and then a hachling rack on top (which isn't finished yet but will be soon) It was really easy to build and only took a weekend to complete.

Very nice collection Sean, and I too like that rack. A very clean set-up you have. It also looks like yoou'll be hatching some cool stuff in the near future.

Thanks Tim...I have to go the HET way (due to cost) so I am hopeful for an Axanthic this year...then next year the other girls will be big enough to breed and then my patience will hopefully be rewarded.

Hey Cory...not yet but your (former) big boy bred her like a champ. They got a late start I think due to the warm winter (and my inexperience) so I am still hopeful. I will let you know if I get lucky. How is your season going?

Season is going well, we have 3 clutches on the ground and a lot of girls who just completed their POS so we are excited. We are creating a lot of mixes this year so should be exciting...I will keep my fingers crossed for you on the Axanthics, you still have time for her to ovulate though...no worries...

So it would seem...I am very flattered :P . I am working on a DYI so perhaps I will have it up tonight. I didn't take pictures while I was building it but think I can take pictures of the unit built that will still show enough details to guide someone.

OK...My first pass at a DIY on the rack is posted in the caging forum. It was getting long so I am going to post it in a couple of entries. Please take a look and let me know what isn't clear or what still needs work. I have never written one so something might not be as clear as needed or might be too much.

Thanks again everyone for your nice comments :) .
