Buying two 06 100$ Piebald Hets???

I went today to a local reptiles store to talk and get more info on the HETS for piebald. I asked the guy that im dealing with where is he getting the balls from. He told me a breeder that used to have a reptile shop but closed down because he was in a bad area for buisness. And now breeding at his home. ex store(natural selections)miami.

So Tommorow the breeder is suppose to come tommorow to the store and show me the dad piebald and the mom Het. I was telling myself there not gonna buy me becuase hes bringing his collection in. Im going to strike hard on this guy and make sure I get some kind of proof of genetics and and some contract that these balls are what he says they are.

Glad to hear that you're taking wise precautions! Also remember that there's really no hurry and lots of breeders are hatching piebald hets at this time of year. :gj:

lol..I know I want one now!!!!..If everything goes well with the guarantee im gonna buy an adult het pied to breed with my normal female that i have now to give me 50%s.

I'd get his name and check him out on the Fauna BOI. Remember that the guarantee on paper is ONLY as good as the reputation of the person writing it.

FWIW....what kind of breeder will bring his very valuable Pied breeder male and Het pied breeder female to a pet store just to "prove" the hets are real. (too much risk and chance for mite infestation or other communicable diseases possibly caught by his breeding stock from other animals at the pet shop)
Also I could show you any morph male and "het" female and tell you that the normals that I am selling you are het for that morph. I could even print out documents to "prove" it. Be careful dealing with someone willing to risk the health of his high end morphs just to make a sale......

better to spend $1000 bucks on a het from a reputable breeder than $100 bucks for a het from joe blow...

You gotta be pretty desperate to sell an adult het pied for 100 bucks. It will eat at you if It doesn't prove out at the end, I'm speaking from experiance I got burned once someone took my money and sent nothing.

I would definately assume that they are normals.. for $100 you could get a pair of cbb normals. People don't go around selling Mercedes for the prices of Ford Tempos.
