The start of a sucky morning...

This gal busted loose in our retail store last night & did a lovely job of trashing things, including a pipe on our fish system that resulted in 300+ gallons of water being dumped on the floor.

Here's a pic of her up in the rafters. Yeah, she's way up there.

I guess if nothing else it's a chance to climb up there & sweep away all the cobwebs as well.

Oh that is a sucky way to start the morning, at least she was easy to find. Hope no permenant damage was done. :(

Not on sale...but I'm not quite past contemplating a lovely new pair of boots! :twisted: (just kidding...kind of)

At least 300 gallons - our fish setup is huge, 10,000+ gallons between the tanks & 32' of in-ground sumps that feed the various systems. Thank goodness for the central wet/dry vac!

P.S. She's a 17-footer, for whoever asked...

Entertainment for us at the expense of you, I'd like to see pics of you guys trying to get a 17ft python out of the piping in the ceiling...I bet that was fun!

Bet it took a long time to clean up after all of that! at least you know tomorrow can't possibly be as bad! :D

She's still up there, if that tells you anything. It's taken most of the day to contain the havoc she wreaked upon the store...

Working at an aquatics store myself I know how "fun" it is to clean up a mess load of water...well at least 50-90 gallons...its an immense amount of water to have on the floor. You are right, thank got for wet/dry vacs.

Hope the day gets better.

If it gets exciting I'll bust out the video camera.

I'm so sorry.... about the mess and snake on the lamb and the fact I can't stop giggling. (it's a sympathic giggle though ... I promise!) I sure hope she decides to come down to earth today. :hug:

Since here at work we have to clean up 100's of gallons (not necessarily always H2O either! :( ), I can REAAALLY empathize!! (and we DON'T have central wet/dry vacs. We have to use the little units on wheels! :mad: :mad: ) Sorry to hear of your mess....

But I'm like Cassandra...I hope there weren't any injuries to either you or the naughty snake when getting her down from the rafters.

How did you ever get her down? Doesn't look like it would have been easy. I can empathize with cleaning up the mess, but at least you get to work with something you love. (theres always a bright side, but sometimes you really have to look hard for it....)
