Breeding season; BIGGEST Headache!!!

So here it is, im here once again for 4 nights straight looking for a pair of 100%HET piebalds. Ive been emailing the whole world. I guess ever breeder is busy this season with the eggs..

Ive found a 100% het female for 1000/with the boy but the boy is only 66%. I WANT 100% OUTCOME!!!!!!...Please help respectable breeders with proven guaranteed HETS!!!

Do i have problems if every 5mins im clicking on the refresh button in my email to see if any breeders wrote?? :confused: guess im going to sleep check first thing in the morning before i lose my job staying up to late

Give it time. A lot of breeders are just super busy around this time of year. If they have a phone # listed on their site, give them a call. It's easier to reach some breeders by phone then email since a lot of times they have their phone on them or near them. As for sitting on the computer checking emails all day long isn't always the case. You'll find a pair, don't worry. There are many out there. Just make sure they are a trusted breeder so you know you'll be getting the right genes and snakes.

You may also need to be patient and wait for the '07's to start hatching, as most of the reputable breeders are likely sold out of earlier het pieds.

I would not hesitate to purchase from any of the above. While these aren't the only reputale breeders out there, this is just a list to get you started.

Don't know the reputation of either of the posters of those ads. I'd much rather buy from someone well known, especially when it comes to buying hets (particularly after the TSE fiasco), or someone that I have gotten to know and trust here.

My het pied is also from Sean

Im looking at a neighborhood reptile shop and the guy has two 06 het pieds for $700. Im so scared on what two do.. I seen the bellies there plain white with the black borders. But thats still hard to tell. I gonna tell him before i buy i want a notice of authenticy. Explaing the day , the amount, and what type of speicies it is.

I told him I want 100% and he sai they were bred from a "visual piebald and a Het".

if you are not 100% sure they are 100% hets, my advice is don't buy them!


i would definately buy hets straight from a breeder! no other hands to go through and less chance of a mistake.

i'm sure one of the breeders mentioned above should be able to help you out.

a written guarantee is only as good as the person writing it! research your breeders and go with one that has been around a while and has a good rep.

I have an idea on where you are going with this, you are thinking about "Het Pied markers" and let me tell you this is not how you buy an het, the only real marker is the guarenty from a reputable breeder and nothing else ;) .

Bingo!. Buy from a breeder that you trust.

Yeah but looks one of the pairs is 100% and the other is 50-60%. I should just get a 100% female and hold on the boy until sept. when eggs start being hatched
