    My Caracaracaramel!
Just got her at 4 in the morning with my import shipment. Got this onr from Kevin at Dragon Den. TBH, I hate his Bearded, but I love his Ball Python! lol I think he should consider career change (just kidding Kevin, you're the man.)

She's close to 500 g, maybe I can breed her right away j/k
SHe's healthy and everything, I think I won't feed her until next week. She've travelled across the world so I don't want to stress her out. After I took her picture I just left her alone.http://www.siamreptile.com/webboard/...0943_16142.jpg

Compare her with my Pastel male. I think they're about the same size. Maybe I can try to make Pastel het caramel in 3 years. Not so promising project I think :D

Apart from the Pastel, everything else in this pic came last night...or this morning whatever. Bee pair is from Harford Reptiles Breeding Center. I think they should rename their brand name to something short, like...H!

Wow, I'm really lucky. But Kevin gave me a pretty good deal. For this Caramel I just have to send Kevin 10 tons of rice, 2 tons papaya, and 1 Albino water buffalo, or mail order bride if Buffalo is not avail. You see? I just couldn't pass up the deal this good.

I think I need to sleep. It's already 9am in here and I haven't slept yet. Actually I can't sleep, I have to go to my customers' shop to deliver all those giant Chameleons, frogs, Colubrids, and giant amphiuma, etc. what a scary thing Amphiuma is, what do they eat?

How`s the import regulations in Thailand? How long did it take for the shipment to arrive and how was it delivered?

It took me two days, from the day I apply, to get all needed import document from CITES Thailand. Before that I have to wait for 2-3 weeks to get CITES in the US.

Every shipment will take 3-4 weeks untill the animals arrive. 2 weeks to apply for CITES in the US. Few days- one week to get import permit from Thai department depends on what's the mood of the person in charge of approving lol. The rest is waiting(uncomfortably) for your animals to show up.

My first time importing, my broker switched my shipment with the shipment for their customer in Malaysia. I got their animals and they got mine. To make a story short, it took extra week and extra $500 to switch animals back. Totally not a good experience lol

That`s what I wanted to know, I don`t really mind waiting as long as the animal/s are healthy. I`m more concerned on the paperworks on my part and from what I`ve heard from people around my area, it`s not really that straight forward in obtaining a permit. Did you pick up the shipment from the airport? and how was it handled there?

Thanks man and good luck with your snakes. Maybe I`ll import from you instead :D

It's too bad we can't export any kind of snake out of Thailand, either local or imported. How stupid is that?
