    Wow!! That's really neat! What are you making it out of? Wood? Clay? I couldn't tell just be looking at it :) No matter what it's made out of--that's pretty impressive.

    Thank you. I figured it would be aproperit (sp?) for the time of year lol.

    And we all know I'm crazy for Pastels, so I found this to be fun to make.

    It isn't perfect, but no art is. that is what makes it art.

    That is really amazing. When i first saw the pictures I thought, awww, its a little baby, then it took me a second and I realized it was just clay.

    that was what i was going for.

    You guys remember when my 2 snakes locked up? I placed the egg in with my female and she just happened to coil around it. my husband walked in and started yelling "we have a baby somethin that is lemon YELLOW!?!" lol

    lol! Mark is sitting on the couch playing PS2, and h looked and said "oh, someone's pastel hatched?!" He thought it was real.. that is truly talented work and awesome!

    Well here is an Update:

    I had 3 finished for "4theSNAKElady" but my cat chewed up the pastel of the group and really made me mad so i have to start all over again with the new Pastel.

    I just wanted to let everyone know I bought one of these a month ago and everyone that sees it thinks it is real. The attention to detail is amazing. If given the chance I will buy more.

    They are fun to make. I still look at them and wonder how I do it.

    The hardest part is clearing out the solid egg to place the baby inside. each piece is comprized of 3 or more parts. The solid clay egg, the baby, and the "soft shell" that covers over the hole the baby is in. giving it the look that the baby is hatching out and the shell is soft.
