yea...a car worth 1 and a half million dollars and was 1 of only 400 made! and he acted like it was no biggie...lol. I saw that on the news this morning. CRAZY! and who puts a person in a car like that who has never raced or anything and put them on a course that is so close to a wall! they weren't supposed to be going over 60 I think. but who knows! lol.

I was wondering about that myself, MeMe. I know when you buy an airplane, you can rent it out for flight training to help pay for it, maybe it's something like that?

Side note: Could a mod please change the "is" in my title to "it"?

yea they said it was a celebrity race thing or something. The guy that "loaned" Eddie the car was on t.v. this morning and he said his first concern was for Eddie then the car. but he didn' seem upset about it. I think I heard that he was maybe the producer or director of the next movie Eddie is putting out. So I guess Eddie already has a paycheck deduction coming out! LOL!

Ooooh, ok, I was wondering why anyone with a machine like that bad boy would let a comedien drive it! That makes sense, now, although still not good sense, hahaha.

Thanks for fixing the title, Lawrence! :D

the sad thing is, the drive was to promote the new movie redline, and they guy who loaned out the Enzo already sacrificed a $400,000 prosche carrera GT in the movie's making....

from the video it only looks like front end damage, however with so much of the car being carbon fiber and designed to be ultra lightweight they can only handle stress from designed parameters a.k.a. being strong in one direction, but shatters if force is applied at any other point, that when the car crashed all four suspension set-ups and sub frames were completely destroyed. strong, yet fragile. the very nature of the supercar.

there were only 350 planned copies of the ENZO, but seeing as people such as Michael Schumacher, the first athlete to gross over a billion dollars who even drives for Ferrari, never managed to get their hands on one, they bumped the number to 400. Makes it a crying shame that I now have heard 8 have already been totaled.
wow, what a completely useless rant... lol

For those who own supercars, I'd rather see them driven than tucked away in a spotless garage under a silk drop cloth with 15 miles on the odometer...but man, what a waste of a beautiful car...

Time to take that insurance money and buy something else...wonder if he can find any Maclaren F1's up for sale...or maybe order a Zonda....
