Re: I'm just a tad excited
kittens are quite possibly the best thing ever
Re: I'm just a tad excited
Swa-HEEET!!!! That is slightly cute! :P They resemble M Coons???
Re: I'm just a tad excited
what kinda snake are you gonna feed that to? ;)
he he, well I'm not a cat person, bug I'm glad you're getting a kitty! At least they bring happiness to some people int he world
even if their evil fur decides to haunt the very bowels of my nasal passage causing sneezing and itchy watery eyes!!!
**walks off arguing with himself about weather or not your nasal passage can have bowels**
Re: I'm just a tad excited
Oh she's gorgeous! I had a look at that link as I'd never heard of Turkish Van cats. Very pretty and quite unique. Congrats! Does she have a name yet?
Re: I'm just a tad excited
So damn cute! I have also never heard of that type.
Re: I'm just a tad excited

LMAO!!! :8:
That is such a pretty kitty! I love little furballs! I have 2 kitties and Sway (my pit) JUST LOVES the orange one the most! LOL! ;)
Re: I'm just a tad excited
LOL, ya'll are cracking me up!
That would definitely the most expensive snake food EVER, so I think we'll just keep her around ;)
No name yet, Jeff said that he gets to name her since I picked her from the available babies. I'm betting he'll pick a character name from a Pratchett book.
Vans are a LOT like MCoons in that they get large, have a quiet meow, and are extremely smart. I am a little worried about having two cats that can outsmart me. I'm already imagining the plots they will come up with! One major difference is that while they are long haired, they don't have an undercoat, so they rarely require grooming at all. Oh, and of course, they swim :D

I'm so happy for you getting this little beauty!! I don't know a thing about the breed but if it's what you want, then that's wonderful! How long will you be "expecting"? :)

My biggest pit is so obsessed with cats...LOL... she tries to groom and mother them... she loves that I foster kittens LOL... she's teaching the new pit pup how to approach "her" kitties... Proof goes nuts when you even mention the name of her favorite cat "Snitch" You know how they :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r: their heads all the way to the side and perk up... I love that!

About 3 weeks....an eternity if you ask me!
Re: I'm just a tad excited
Adorable! Can't wait for new pictures.
And believe me, two cats can come up with plenty of evil plans, try having three!

Re: I'm just a tad excited
I think that I just died from cuteness overload! They are such a cool breed of cat; great choice. :)
Re: I'm just a tad excited
Well we did have 3, but our Zane passed in January. He wasn't a plotter, though, he just kept the other two in line and let me know when it was dinnertime. And Mona Lisa is just a princess, she's so sweet and adorable. My MCoon, on the other hand, is a devious little juvenile delinquent. Having another like him might be a challenge! :D
I truly appreciate the kind words in this thread. Making the decision to get another cat has really been an emotional upheaval for me, and Jeff as well I'm sure. But our family just doesn't feel complete without a third furkid, and I know we aren't trying to replace Zane (like we even could!), so I feel we are making the right choice.
I've tried typing that out twice today, and had to quit due to vision problems!
