Color change...

I posted a pic of my 21 year old gal in an earlier thread, but I thought I'd start a new one to show how much these snakes can change their color. The first one was taken several months ago, and the second was just taken tonight. I'm pretty sure she's gravid (haven't seen ovulation).

My ball does that too. Yours could be 'glow before they blow'. Wow, 21 years old. What a oldie, and producing eggs!:rockon:

Thanks. :) I believe the record is 49 years from a Ball Python that lived in the Philadelphia Zoo... setting the record for all snakes.

Thanks Raj. I adopted her about two years ago and she was pretty thin... about 1600 grams and a little over 4 feet. The last time I weighed her (a couple months ago) she was a little over 3000. She's definitely one of my favorites. :love: I take her outside more often than the other snakes when it warms up to let her explore, and even though she's mostly blind, she still seems to like to "periscope" and check things out.
