    I do.

I used 15 quart tubs for my Bluefields when they were babies and now use the 32 quart tubs for them as 2 year olds.

Don't have any pics with them in the 32 quart tubs.

For Colombian boas, I use the long 71 quart tubs.

ya i thinking about puting my boa in a tub. He is 27in long and the tub that i have is 15 by 38. i dont know how many quarts that is. Should a heat mat be enough to heat the substrate and air temp?

A heat mat would work as long as you cover at least 1/3 (I would try for about 1/2) and make sure it is not a tall tub. A tub 6 inches high would be good. Hook the heat mat to a thermostat or rheostat since they can get very hot. Also, make sure to secure the top. A boa can push very hard even with the tub only being 6 inches tall and can pop the top off.

You can get a 4.5' long tub from reptiletubs.com that would comfortably house most adult boa constrictors. The price is $35 I believe.. not sure what shipping is, I bought mine at a reptile show.

The little one to the left is about 2' deep, 1' across and 6" tall each tub.
The bigger one is about 2' deep, 4' across and 6" tall each tub. They work great, but don't work well at all for breeding in. My males stay in the bigger one and the ones I'm raising up all start in the smaller one before transitioning to the bigger rack. Works pretty well for me!

I use tubs for my 2 male boas and a boaphile for my female. Tubs work great for boas and they are SOOOOOOO much easier to clean.

jim020cricket: do flexwatt work with those type of enclosure or do they not produce enough heat to reach the cage?

I use boaphiles for all my other big snakes too. I love them.. great lightweight, easy to clean cages, and priced reasonably.
