    Best Song Ever
What in your opinion is the best song ever written?Mine has to be Metallica "Nothing Else Matters" classic.

Man, that question is too hard! The first thing that popped into my head was "The Best of Times" by Styx, but I think that's just because it has the word "best" in it...
And then I look again and see Metallica in your post, and I think "nono, One is better!", lol.
So I dunno...the best song depends on what I'm listening to at the time, kinda like my favorite snake is the one I'm holding :D

I don't think I could pick a 'best song ever'. At the moment I find myself listening to 'Wish I were the Rain' by Shedaisy a lot... on the other hand the song right after it I listen to is 'Down with the Sickness' by Disturbed. O.o
    hmm.

Listening to his "music" (If you want to call it that) you'd think he'd forget his name if it wasn't continually repeated.;)

    Well for me it is totally mood dependant but, if forced, I would have to say;

the theme from harry's game by clannad.

it might be sung in the gallic but it's heard in the language of the soul.

No Frankie Goes to Hollywood RELAX votes? No Sugarhill Gang?

I'd really be hard pressed to pick a single one but always had a weakness for Opeth's "Demon of the Fall" and Led Zep's "Kashmir" definitely have to be up in that strata.

Mike Jones is possibly the worst rapper alive....there's about a billion songs better than Mr. Jones....why dont u listen to good rappers like Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas, etc.....Mike Jones revolves his career around making songs where he repeats the lines that he THINKS are good over and over and over again because he isn't skilled enough to make a song without doing that.......

anyway...my favorite RAP song is OutKast - B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad) and my favorite ROCK song is Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody...:carrot:

    Oooo hard question. :P

Maybe Mutter, Das Alte Leid, or Stein um Stein by Rammstein. Mutter's very sad but also poetic... Das Alte Leid is the same.
Stein um Stein has amazing lyrics and music, definently one of the pinnacles of Rammstein's musicianship.

Oh! And I just remembered Hurt by Nine Inch Nails. I prefer Johnny Cash's cover though. The raw emotion makes his cover so much more emotional than the original.

Ok, so that was more than one song, but hey, I love my Rammstein. :)

Yeah, it's very moving. June Carter had apparently just died before he recorded the song and he didn't have much longer himself. You can practically hear his soul being ripped in two.
    "What have I become
