    Omelettes anyone?
First clutch of the season arrived a little unexpectedly. I had to do some quick vermiculite mixing since I have put it off for the last week. I didn't get a shot of the mother on the eggs. I just forgot to before I removed her. The eggs are in the incubator and hopefully all is well!

Congrats bro! ... Check that vermic mixture ... looks overly wet??? Better to error on the dry side, you can always add water later.

Thanks man! Checked it. Squeezes into snowballs but as hard as I squeeze, no water comes out.

Might want to get someone else to squeeze it, you're not very strong. :carrot:

Thanks Bill and Lawrence! I am psyched to get the incubating started. I never did notice the ovulation on this girl. I got her about 2 years ago for $50 off a craiglist ad. She was pretty skinny and had a big calcification lump on her spine. My vet never felt it would affect her breeding and in the end it didnt.

I can sympathize with the slacking. I've got to get my stuff together, since my girl will HOPEFULLY be doing the same thing in a week or two and I'm not ready. Tomorrow is the day I get it together... I swear!

Thanks brother! I'm incubating on the low side so I would guess that itll be closer to 60 than 53 :)

Of course they'll only be poss het hypos but I had the extra normal girl and the het hypo girl wasn't ready so I figured, why not!
