New Bell Pastel BP (DUW)

Went to the Kansas City Reptile Show today and came back with this little guy. It's my first morph so i'm very excited. This was also my first reptile expo so today has been a blast. Got to see a pied, cinnamon, and orange ghost, and a couple albinos. It wasn't a very big expo but it was definitely fun. This guy was the only pastel at the show but it was still a looker in my opinion, and weighing in at 285g. Got him home as fast as I could, took a quick photoshoot, and placed him in his new tub, hopefully I didn't stress him too much but I had to take pics. Tell me what you think of him, and suggestions for a name would be great.

As for a name, I say there's nothing wrong with waiting a few weeks to see his personality develop!

Nice pastel man you should name him inspector gadget or something really weird haha.

Well I am pretty weird but I think i'm gonna try to stick to something more... uhh... normal... or should I say... more pastel :P

Thanks, and don't worry, I got the 11" runnin' off a ranco, and as for the rodents... let's just say "let the bodies hit the floor".

I forgot to say that there was also a budgett's frog. I basically couldn't stop laughing at it. I don't think I hurt its feelings. I believe they try to be little comedians.

Name him Sid. I don't know why. I just saw him and thought Sid. Haha.

Sounds like a girls name to me. No offense what so ever, but when I hear "Sid" I think of the girl from scream (short for Sidney)

I think it is. As for a name, just wait and see how he acts and name him something that fits his personality.

I was there yesterday and saw that bp! Congrats. Too bad the pics are so dark, after he gets settled in you should get some better pics with more lighting.

It is and I didn't mean to say it wasn't, but when I hear sid, I just see the chick from scream. However, i'm trying to reconsider my outlook on it. :rolleyes:

Thanks, and I got the price down by $40 so that felt good. I looked for a guy with a 6yr old son and saw a few but was too afraid to walk up and say "Are you krood! :D " The might take it the wrong way :D . And I do need better pics but he needs to settle. He looks so much better than those pics show. So did you walk out with any new friends?

The best advise I can give you is to focus on what you like the very most and skip what other people/market wants you to have/like. Stick to your passion and the rest will come natural :gj:
