they were both pretty cold and moving very slow so I put them in their tank right away to warm up to room temp before I turn any heat on for them

I can't stop looking at their eyes.. I keep getting up and checking them out
They're moving around a lot more already and exploring the tank

I'm going to get them into the vet for a check up since they are WC in a couple of days.
They seem real skinny. Hopefully they'll put some weight on.

those skinny little legs and toes look so fragile...guess i'm used to fat crested feet. :P

I thought so too. I've never seen a Chinese Leo in person so I expected them to be smaller. Compared to my regular Leo they are so different.

They're pretty long though.

Those are some sweet looking geckos!

Those eyes are just STUNNING! I'm completely blown away... I'm sure you'll fatten them up and they'll be happy critters. If I ever get a gecko--those'll be high up on the list. They're amazing.

Aww, I am sorry. I hadn't seen the thread before today. They do look pretty skinny. Have you contacted LLLreptile? I have heard some mixed reviews about their animals in the past.

I was going to contact them but my boyfriend told me to just not order from them again since they only offer store credit. I have no intentions of dealing with them again.
I shouldn't have ordered WC geckos but I couldn't find any CB ones until after I ordered these. I've learned my lesson.

I just hope the second one makes it. I doubt it as it's just as skinny.

oh no, i'm so sorry. :( that's quite common with wc geckos unfortunately. i'd take the store credit and use it on dry goods. at least that way you don't lose the money.

Oh dear so sorry to hear about the one not making it, hopefully the other one will. I agree with Emily, I'd take the store credit and use it for dry goods so at least you don't take a total loss. Tough thing dealing with WC's. :(

I'm not sure if you know this or not but most of LLLreptile's animals are WC imports. I've heard a lot of not so good things about them. I was actually looking to get a snake from them and I'm now glad I listened to what people had to say about them. I know they were at a local show here last year and some animals looked good, while others looked pretty bad while there were a few that were dead in their little containers hidden in the back under everyone else. I'd call them up, get a refund and use it on something that isn't alive from them. Also I'd post a thing on the BOI about this.

i have been to lllreptiles store as i used to love about 30 mins from there. they bar none have the best care set ups for there animals i have ever seen. the problem is you got wc animals. when you get wc no matter what it is you are taking a little gamble. i would take store credit form them in a second.

There is nothing else I want/need from them.
I'll just not buy from them or any WC animals in the future.
Lesson learned..
