World of Warcraft

Since I'm new to reptiles, I'm not sure how the "geekdoms" crossover, but I was just curious if we there are any other World of Warcraft dorks amongst us (or Everquest for that matter). :D

i just got the game about a week ago. i have lost a few hours of my life since then.

LOL. Own it for more than a year and then type in /played. You will cry yourself to sleep that night :)

My roommate plays it and uses all of our bandwidth when he does...which is for many hours of the day...

Halo 2 multiplayer is about all i do as far as online games go...

I'm a Halo girl as well :)

Haha it's kinda scary how much time is spent on there isn't it? :eek: My brother got it for Christmas and got me hooked! I have been playing for about 2 years or a bit more...college got in my way though and I haven't been able to play much since I started school last year. :hmm: I'm sure Kasi will chime in on this one too...somehow she manages to play even with school! I just don't get it.... :confuse: haha

Been a while... It's either darkangel or sweeten the deal. I think it was the latter. Can't wait till they release Halo 2 for Vista, playing on PC is soooo much better. :rockon:

halo 2 for vista....i'm waiting on halo 3 beta....that's going to be insane...

lol...not quite...i didn't even own the original xbox....skipped right to the 360 and picked up a few games i used to play back in my first couple years of college...

I have played WoW in the past, but I'm currently on hiatus from it. I just don't have the time when I'm at school. :)

Yep, I'm another WoW lady. A lvl 62 HUman Paladin to be specific. :)

We had three chicks in my guild--and I got to meet them all at "Bad Moon Bar Night" :) My boyfriend's friends and their friends were the people who made up the guild. So it was neat to meet a good portion of them.

Hehe I've been on for awhile. I used to play SWG and changed to WoW since SWG went to hell.

I haven't played since August. :) I'm Horde all the way! :rockon: My main was a Troll Shammy. I've met a few other girls who play WoW...and let's just say two of the three fit that "stereotype" of geek girls ;)

I have a 60 undead warrior/60 troll hunter/20 something blood elf hunter and several other low level ones... I am such a nerd it isn't even funny. I build my pc's, I'm a trekkie, but atleast I know not to act like a social retard haha.

I play/played WoW. Taking a break again...


I have a 60 NE priest/ 58 Hunter dwarf / 50 Human Pally on mannaroth.
I have played off and on since beta. I go through spurts with WoW. LOTR online actually looks pretty good so i am looking forward to that. Currently playing Vanguard(so-so not great) and Rainbow 6 Las Vegas(awesome).

I'm on hiatus as well for the moment. I'm obsessed with Age of Empires.

No WOW! lol I hate wow, but I do play MMO's. I am currently spending most of my gaming time on Guild Wars, its fun, and FREE. My game of choice was always Dark Age of Camelot. It's as good as WoW while leveling up, but the end game/pvp is SO much better!


I have a couple characters on there, where the /played is super high

My two main characters combined have over 9 months /played time **shakes head** although I have been playing for 5 years now

still...it's pathetic!

I love that game though

I have started hating games. It all goes back to one of my exes, who was so addicted to gaming that he would literally call into work days on end, stand me and other friends up, etc. I would spend half an hour walking to his house in the rain/snow and then find a note that he was at "The Shop", a gamer shop that his friends owned..
Not that I hate gamers or anything. I just seriously think that gaming can be addictive and really, at this point in my life, I have had to weed out anything that is not productive. In my spare time, I like using this site, watching educational things on TV, etc.

My ex-husband was that way :P. When he started playing Star Wars and WoW I was ignored for a few months :P

I haven't played WoW, though I have considered it. If it's as addicting as Final Fantasy XI, then I'd be in trouble. LOL. It's all really addicting...

Im taking a break from mmo's atm.. but i bought Final fantasy12 on the ps2 and im loving it :D imo so far it aint a ff7 beater (No rpg can beat ff7 imo) but its the best one since :)

I play Wow. I'm on the Kael'thas server and I play horde. I'm usually on my 59(ish, i've been working on him a lot) tuaren shaman.

I shocked my guildmates once when we had teamspeak running and were raiding. They didn't realize I was a chick until they heard my voice :P

I can name a few RPG's that beat it ;) then again I was never much of a fan of FF7. The story was good, but not amazing, hell I believe ff8 had a better story than 11.

I do wish they'd re-make the game with better graphics though, I'd go through and play it again. I have FF12 int he other room, as well as Dirge of Cerberus but I haven't played either too much, been too busy as of late, plus when I do have some free time I've been re-playing my way through the Metal Gear Games :-D all of them, even the ones from super nintendo :)

Yeah id wish they remake ff7 i wanna PSP version that would pwn every other psp game imo and sell alot more psp's with it :rockon:.
Ive also been playing the metal gears again too lol i love em just completed the first ps1 metal gear and now im roughly half way through sons of liberty, will be playing snake eater next still havt played it yet lol , cant wait for the ps3 metal gear :cool::cool::cool:

Have you played the original, titled "Metal Gear" then there was "Metal Gear: Solid Snake" those two are cool too, thats when "Metal Gear: Solid" came out for PS1. Also if you have a game cube, invest in "Metal Gear: Twin Snakes" it's basically "Metal Gear: Solid" From PS1 just redid with the graphics/game-play style of "Metal Gear: Sons of Liberty"

wow..cool thread. i need info on what the big deal is about this game. don't take this the wrong way...but my son- in- law can't, won't, refuses to get up from the computer! he can spend a minimum of 16 hours a day playing this game. he just got back from philadelphia and was in some kind of tournament. he used to have a high ranking charactar, now he is a nurse. i don't know a darn thing about this cult!! j/k. my daughter has a complex over this game, it is not helping thier relationship, but i stick up for him for the most part, cuz, and i tell her this too...at least you know where he is. and he is not hiding out in a dark alley with a crack-pipe sticking out of his mouth.....right.
i am kinda jealous over the kids these days. some kids i see at the mall are totally ungrateful at the eb game store. they cry, whine and jump up and down for these games. those ungrateful little ba$+@>ds, do they even realize how fortunate they really are. when i was a pee-shooter, we had games like pong, pac-man,asteroids,missle command, space invaders, night-driver....get my point? now with these hi-tech games...wow, how cool are they? i remember tetris, which i was a wizard at. got to the 20th level...(sega)galaxy quest or something, i remember playing mortal combat with my kid,now that game i rocked at. but the graphics in these newer games are awesome. then when i came across grand theft auto....holy s#!t! i almost died. they came a long way since sonic the hedge hog and super mario brothers!!!!!!!!!!
