Only true forms of metal. No metal-core or nu-metal. Those 2 are just poser styles of metal. Been listening to old school Sepultura lately. With some Exhumed and as always Immortal to round things out.

I defenitely am a Fan of Metal, Techno and for other it would be almost like rap but only music from the Psycopathic Family MUCH CLOWN LUV to all the Juggalos!!!!! :rockon:

Agreed... I've been keeping it old school with At the Gates. Also i got back into neurosis and acid bath... i throw a little spazz in there too.

Missing folk music, into which I would include World, bluegrass, Celtic, etc...

I listen to almost any kind of rock. Not too big on rap. Metal is definitely one of my favorites.

Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold, Green Day, Secondhand Serenade, Genesis, and a lot of other stuff too.

Metal. More specifically noisecore, death, and industrial.
Top 6: Rammstein, Norma Jean, Children of Bodom, Black Label Society, In Flames, and Unearth. Not the girliest music, probably why so many people think I'm a guy.

However, I am open to most types of music(minus emo and gangsta rap.)

I listen to just about anything...execpt what my brother listens too haha (the really hard, acid metal stuff) I saw a shirt just recently that I thought I should get him.... "I hate the bands that you like" :D it's great!! Oh, and I had to cast my vote for country, it's what I have been listening to lately ^_^

My two favorite bands are RelientK and Switchfoot. I voted for punk/punk rock and other, because I believe RelientK is punk rock-ish and Switchfoot is alternative/punk rock.

Edit: Oh cool, RelientK's new album was just released today! I just bought it on iTunes for $11.99.

Both of those are actually considered Christian rock.

I wanted to respond to the movie thread, but I like too many movies, hopefully I can narrow it down more for this one. ;)

Classic rock, 70s & 80s tunes, classical, alternative and indie rock depending on the song, David Bowie (a class of his own!), some J-rock (mostly just M10M and Malice Mizer, it's all about the Mana fangirling), Kirtan, World music, and I'm seriously hooked on the Bollywood tunes now as well. Also love the funny stuff, like Weird Al and various showtunes like Phantom of the Opera, Little Shop of Horrors, Reefer Madness, Hedwig & the Angry Inch, Rent, Chicago, etc and so on. Really it depends on my mood I guess, but it's still easier to narrow down than the movies. :P

Metal and rock(alternative or non). I'm a die-hard Korn fan. My favorite band of all time. ^_^

there's no little bit of everything button, i love hip hop (tribe called quest, etc.) and most metal, and i listen to everything else, except bad country, pop garbage and bad metal. bad metal = slipknot, berzerkers (although their drummer is sick) etc.

My favorite bands are Type O Negative, Heart, The Beatles, CCR.. I also seriously love Duran Duran, Concrete Blonde, Cradle of Filth, Slayer (YEAH!!!), The Flir, Nine Inch Nails, The Tea Party, Marilyn Manson, Dimmu Borgir, nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Thrill Kill Cult, Bauhaus, and The Electric Hellfire Club.. man could I go on and on. I really don't like newer country, gangster rap, and anything that I get a whiff of blatant exploitation of something with; like it was created for a certain demographic and overproduced, etc. Granted, some of the bands I have listed have done this before.. but basically I like tunes that reflect my own lifestyle.
I really dislike rap.I just can't relate to someone blahing on and on about crime, hoes, etc.:)
