St. Louis Zoo Pics...

I recently went to the St. Louis Zoo on a field trip with the KY Herp Society....we got a behind the scenes tour....it was a blast! Heres a link to the pics I took:

That reminds me, I need to change the name of the "unknown" viper....it is a black-phase Protobothrops tokarensis aka "Tokara Habu". This species of Viper is extremely rare in the US, with only 3 specimens in Zoos that I am aware of.

WoW great!! now I know that St. Louis, is one of the zoo that is working with the Puertorican crested(sapo concho) I read that they are doing a great job in breeding them and shipin the babies to PR so they can populated the specie agian!! very nice!!
