Wild or Captive

This is a guatemalan palm viper. Is this a field pic or a cage pic?;)

I'd say cage due to the 'glare' in front of the photo. Very nice picture either way.

Cage you can tell cause of the glare and the lack of background material.

That and the leaves are plastic!

Fake vine, fake leaves, glare from glass, definatly in captivity.

Yup, a captive of a friend that allowed us to get some pics of his collection. This little gem was in the cage next to the guatemalan.

The guy has some incredible black headed bushmasters as well.

I'm not big on keeping hots as "pets" I think its irresponsible. But they are great looking critters

The yellow one is beautiful. Is it an eyelash viper?

Reponsible venomous keepers, don't consider them pets.;) It wasn't until my friend knew me for a while and learned of my previous venomous experience, that I was allowed into his snakeroom. My life style and responsibilities nolonger make it practical for me to keep venomous, but I am not against responsible keepers having them.
