BUG people! I D these buggies! DU warning...
Re: BUG people! I D these buggies! DU warning...
sorry to tell you this but yea they look like termites
Re: BUG people! I D these buggies! DU warning...
I agree with Ed--look like termites to me, too. It's the body and coloration that tell me that. Otherwise, their faces do look ant-ish...but I think they're likely termites.
Re: BUG people! I D these buggies! DU warning...
they are termites. you need to get them killed off fast or they will ruin your yard and house.
Re: BUG people! I D these buggies! DU warning...
Oh yes, termites. They burrow in almost anything. I bought a pile of mulch that was termite free at the time... by the time I had left it for a week it was infested with the nasty little things. I'd take care of those guys- and quick.
Re: BUG people! I D these buggies! DU warning...
Yup Termites. The other looks like a millipede.
Re: BUG people! I D these buggies! DU warning...
termites, definitely.the other looks like a species of centipede.
Re: BUG people! I D these buggies! DU warning...

i think they'd spray anywhere where termites might possibly live/hide.
Re: BUG people! I D these buggies! DU warning...
But what about all the other crawlies!? lol........
Re: BUG people! I D these buggies! DU warning...
lol idk about them.you'd have to ask the extermination service.
Re: BUG people! I D these buggies! DU warning...
Calling right now............... :crix: :crix: :crix:
Re: BUG people! I D these buggies! DU warning...
K, so this is intresting for anyone that has termite intrests! lol
The guy said that it is not uncomon to find them in the yard... The fact that the house was treated 1 yr. ago, means that the treatment should not have worn off yet. He is coming to do an inspection just to be sure.... he said that the treatment basiclly makes a barrier that the little buggers can't/won't pass....
So, huh? Who knew! I'll feel better after he inspects everything!
Learn something new every day! :sunny:

Here's a little something that a lot of people don't know.
centipede = 1 set of legs per segment.
Millipede = 2 sets of legs per segment.
Nice looking Millepede.

Another tidbit, is that centipede legs are laterally positioned whereas millipedes have their legs directly underneath. :nerd:
