    Is this a Normal?
I'll let some of you take a guess as to what you think this is, before I spill the beans on her history. I am hoping she is not normal. Let's here those opinions.

Looks like a normal to me! I guess the only true way to find out would be to breed her. :confuzd:

Well, I thought I'd get more opinions on this girl. Well, I've shown her to a few people, and have a few pics out to some other breeders, and we'll see what they say. Everyone that has seen her has agreed with me so far. To start off with, she was sold to me as a normal. She is Captive Bred, and hatched in a clutch of Het. Red Axanthics. Now I know that Het Reds are suppossed to be black backed, but I've seen alot of them hatch this year that weren't. Opinions are great, but only time will tell. I'll try to get some other pics from different angles, because this pic does not accurately portray her colors(which I think is an important aspect).

    Thanks for looking,

    Thanks for looking,

Tim, I have a normal female sibling from a HRA clutch as well, the flames and ringer type spots on this girl are insane!! If she had been CH, I might've thought something was "up" with her.

I would like to breed her to a Het Red or a Red Ax, and see if anything comes of it. I don't think theres been much breeding of this type done (HRA/Red Ax to normal sib) at least not that I know of. And with the whole Lesser sib thing, I'm willing to try anything LOL

I have always considered her to be just a normal, but I will always keep note of where she came from, just in case ;)

I''l get some pics up in this thread, if you want...

Tim, Tim, Tim - you have to learn that Cue talks in Code. Take the first three letters of his "He Rocks A$$" to be HRA - Het Red Axanthic ;)

Thanks Robin, I didn't know that. And my Secret Decoder Ring has been broken for about ten years. Mental note made. Chris, please post of some pics of your animal, as I'd love to see it.
