Re: well it was bound to happen
I've been bitten by a large Boa but it still didn't match up to a hatchling Burm! Hahaha
Re: well it was bound to happen
Oh man! You must have been a bloody stinky mess. Sorry but that just cracked me up... sorry that I'm laughing at the problem you had.

wasnt so much fun at all, I would ahve taken pics but between getting her back in her enclosure and me cleaned up and the fact I no longer use a point and shot camera I just wasnt able too. I was funny though I was a stinky mess bleeding down my foot.

Re: well it was bound to happen
How did it happen? Right as you opened the cage or what? Also, was it a bite and release, or did it latch on?
Re: well it was bound to happen
Maybe she was trying to tell you to leave her alone

oh she was for sure, it happend when I had her out she was cruising around heading to the floor and for some reason when her head touched the carpet she just went wild trying everything to get away from me.
Re: well it was bound to happen
Most of the bites I've heard of (or experienced) are usually right as the cage/tub is opened, or while actually removing the snake from the cage. I've seldom had any trouble after the snake is out (other than a few really nippy ones that bite all the time regardless of the situation). Do you think there may have been the smell of another animal on the carpet that caused a feeding response?
Re: well it was bound to happen
@piranhaking, I'm sure there are smells that could have set her off as I have 3 dogs, but that would have been a first. I had her out yesterday and she was fine. I chaulk it up to "everyone has those days"
