I hear you on that. I've been sick all week long with a really bad head cold / chest cold. My head feels like it just wants to explode. Not fun times.

Hehe thanks guys. What sucks is when I get sick, I get severely tired. Luckily I was able to go home for 2 hours to take a nap. I feel a lil better but as you fellow allergists know, the snot pressure can be just a lil much sometimes. Btw Adam, the ninja you sent had allergies too. He had dried wiped snot on his suit :O

OK this is going to sound wierd but its always worked for me when it comes to draining.

Take a fingertip and press down just below where the outside edge of your nostrils join into your face and you can feel the bulge of your gums below it.

If you feel around there should be a small hollow on the top of the "gumbump" almost exactly in line with the outer nostril edge.

Press down fairly firmly into it for 5 seconds then release for 5 seconds, repeat that about 3 times pressing slightly harder each time. Always seems to make the back of my throat open up like the fawcet you seek.

And if you are having trouble breathing find a shower with a strong narrow jet setting (stop s******ing cue) and arrange it so it hits you right on the spine then ,with your arms at your side walk back and forwards so it moves up and down yer spine.

At about shoulder blade level will be a spot that feels a little different - you'll know if you find it. Let the water hit it (move slightly up and doon to make sure your still on it) and it will eventually start to go "numb". I'm not certain why it works but since I found it I haven't had to use my asthma inhalers at
    all.

A book I read once described it as the spot on your back that always wanted to be kissed that you never knew existed. Kinda poetic and proving him right or wrong could take your mind completely off your alergies.

I spent waaay to much time doing shiatsu as a teenager I suspect reading this back. Anyway give it a go and see if I need to be locked up or cannonised.
