average expo prices???

On Sunday theres a possibility that I will get to go to the Ontario Reptile Expo :D and I was wondering what kind of prices/discounts I could be expecting. Any ideas?

Well sometimes there will be a breeder that has a thousand normals that he can't move so they will sell them for like $15. Kinda sweet if your looking for a pet.

My local expo has some great breeders with excellent prices.
$25-$45 for normals was about average at the last one.

If you could get a list of the vendors then check them out on the Board of inquiry at fauna classifieds... That way you know who to buy from.... :salute:

I went to an expo over the weekend and yeah the normals there were also very cheap. I purchased two butterscotch ghost hets, 1 male and 1 female for 300 for both from a well known breeder. I'm waiting to go to one in the spring time once all the new babies have hatched, i'm looking for a good price on a spider.

Matt, please dont go to that expo looking for the best price possible..at the last expo there was someone with $35-40 males...almost everyone of those snakes died, or had serious health issues...

Do you by chance have a hot girlfriend that will be joining you?

I"m not only looking for the best price but best price for best quality but the problem is you can't always tell which wil make it hard. I might not even end up going because i have no ride. If I do go though I will try and get my girlfriend to go because she doesn't feel the same way I do about reptiles but that will all change when she sees the babies :P

Well if you end up going, and do in fact bring your girlfriend..... Look for me in my 8 Ball Pythons shirt and my crew of heavily tattooed boneheads, I'll point you in the direction of a few tables you will have no issues buying from ;)

Thanks Chris that would be great. If I do go, girlfriend or not, I'll be sure to find you. Hopefully my parents will at least consider letting me buy a snake when they see one thats not overpriced and half dead (bad petshop experience)

No problem Matt, although I will warn you that the quality ones might fall under what your parents consider overpriced...If you dont end up finding me, I can tell you right now that you wont have problems buying from anyone on the stage at the front (Corey Woods, Mark Mandic, And Jon Kendrick occupy the stage) but you might have to pay a couple hundred for a normal off the stage ;)

Looks like I'll owe them some cash! :P If you know some rough prices how much would it cost for uth, thermostat and screen top? thats all I need to buy now and I'll have a basic setup complete :D :D
