I think we may have had an few Irish members on the forum.....but the couple of Canadians scared them off....j/k.....

No paddy jokes coming from me....When I was born on St. Patricks Day, my parents gladly gave me the name Daniel Patrick Hill.....

...When my grandfather was still living in New Orleans, he was a member of the New Orleans Irish Club....I was even a Marshal for the City's Parade one year on St. Paddy's Day.....cool stuff.....and I don't care what anyone else says.....even if you just have a little bit of Irish blood in you, you can party with the best of them ;)

I'm Irish/Scottish/Native American. My great grandparents on my dad's side came here from Ireland in the early 1900's. My mom's side is Scottish (her maiden name=Aikenhead) Pretty cool heritage, I think. My husband thinks I look Scandinavian if that makes any sense!

Larne is only twenty miles north of Belfast. If you're up in Belfast anytime during the summer or whenever the weathers half decent, which isn't that often, you should take a trip up the Antrim coast road which starts from Larne takes you through the Nine Glens of Antrim and finishes up at the Giants Causeway. I have included a link about the Nine Glens as my rambling in no way does these areas the justice they deserve

Please forgive my spelling if it is wrong as I only know of these places from hearing my family speak of them lol. My grandmother is from County Claire (sp) and my Uncle owns a pub in Dublin called Donaghues ( at least I think it is still there and I am not sure of the g in the name or not) There is another place I can't think of I will have to find out.

Well my hubby Mike is half Irish and half Italian (dad's the Italian so we have a very Italian last name but Mike looks Irish to me LOL) and I'm half Scots and half Ukranian. Lord knows what that makes our poor son genetically but I think it may explain his temperment. :D
