Great end to a long day.
Yesterday was insane. I started off with my son's 7th birthday party 15 boys running and screaming EVERYWHERE. Fortunately, not in my house though, as we had it at the local aquatic center. I'm also still recovering from strep and two ear infections, so trying to get everyone's attention was a bit difficult. We then were able to come home for a short respite, before we had to go cub scouts. I then spent 3 hours coordinating food and drinks for another large group of boys. I was exhausted, but still had to take care of all the animals. Dogs fed, check. Cats fed, check. Geckos, check. Rats, check. Not feeding night for snakes, but I'll check on everyone just in case they need a bit of water. This is what I found when I checked Dandylion!!

She's been glowing for sometime, and had (what I believe to be) 4 very large follicles. I AM ESTATIC! http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k1...e/wootwoot.gif

She was bred to my male pastel, and I've seen 6 good locks with him.

Thanks Jo. My husband SOOOO didn't understand, but I didn't really expect him to. I was just too tired to post the pics here until this morning. Heck, if my kids would have let me sleep in, I would have posted them a bit later.

Thank you all....I'm only guessing on the 4 eggs, but when I checked for follicles a couple weeks ago that's all I felt. I'm a total newb, so who knows if I'm right or not. I'd love to have err on the low side! :D

You all can laugh at me now. This morning I went in to check her and no swelling. My first thought was I imagined it all, and I had to come back and check the picks...yup still looks like an ovulation to me.

Tell me about it....with the whole family being sick last week, it's just a miracle! :D

How do you guys pass the time, during this period? Do you sit and watch your snakes all day? I must check on her 3 times a day, and that's restraining myself.

Thanks. Now I can get nervous about how the heck I'll get her off her eggs! I'm not freaked about getting bit, been there done that, but I just am scared I'll somehow damage the eggs.

...LMAO.....thats when you say "Hubby, you have to come help me, this is a two person job".....and put him incharge of the biting end of the snake while you make sure the eggs are ok during the removal :devilish:

I WISH! He'd laugh, if I asked him to help, and keep on walking! :giggle: He is NOT into snakes. Although, he did help me when Turtle got that rat stuck in his mouth, but only with holding the back end. Nope, I don't see any help forthcoming from that direction.

I know I can do this, but it's just the uncertainty of never having had any practical experience with it. I'm going to have to put up a picture of the blue train engine... I think I can, I think I can..... woo woo

I would have called you at midnight your time, but I figured since I told you NOT to call me when you have suggie news (at O dark thirty) it would be a bit wrong to call you about ovualtion news. Although mine is WAYYYY cooler.... :giggle: (yeah I know you beg to differ :neener: )
