    Well this isn't fair
I've been waiting for NARBC for months, and the day before it starts, I get sick? Ugh!

As long as I'm on my heating pad and under a blanket, I almost feel human. Almost. But if I take 2 steps away from the bed, I turn into a human ice cube.

Awww, you poor thing. Maybe it's a short lived cold and you'll wake up right as rain in the morning. :please: Heck, you could consider padding yourself with the hand warms all over as a last resort.

I had the same thing and it only lasted two days, so don't give up hope yet.

 I'm sorry you're not feeling well, hon :( Just keep curled up with your heat pad, eat some soup, stay hydrated and maybe take some nyquil. You'll be right-as-springtime in no time a'tall.

Darn thats not fair :( .Do you have any reptile shipping heat packs? I used a couple when out hunting deer this year and was toasty all day:cool: .It could serve as a traveling heat pad.

Awww, thanks ya'll, I could definitely do with some sympathy!

Hehe Christie, I love the get well smilie! I hope you are right and this will pass. I was so excited about tomorrow's bp.net lunch.

Kim, you read my mind. I just sent Jeff after soup and Nyquil!

Haha, Joe, I do have some heat packs! Maybe I'll stuff them under the 4 layers of clothes Jeff said I should wear. That dawg said he wouldn't push me around in a wheelchair, though.

Don't tempt me, Andrew! I was really hoping I could show you what strength training is all about! :giggle::strong:

Oh you poor thing! If you've got chest congestion Mucinex really works well. For the chills and cruddy feeling, Mike swears by TheraFlu Warming stuff. He took it when he had a flu/cold thing with chills and it really helped him feel better. Hope you can make the show even for a couple of hours and get better soon.

Oh wow, Joe, I did not know they would lose their heat that way! That actually explains a mystery to me. I tried to send one in a lunch box to school one day, and the pack and food were cold by lunchtime. Now I know why!

Aleesha, I think your reki vibes worked! lol
My fever broke this morning, and aside from a headache, I feel much better. I think.

Awww, Justin, I'm really sorry you are sick too. And I wish I were meeting you today.

Haha, thanks Daniel....my man did totally pamper me last night, but he's still refusing to be my packhorse today. He says he'll park me in a corner and bring me snakes to look at though, so that has to count for something, right? :wuv:

Jo, I think I will take some There Flu with me in case my fever comes back. Mike is right, that stuff is WONDERFUL!

Thanks for all the advice and sympathy! I was really thinking I wasn't going to get to go at all. I think I'll survive now, but I'm not going to shake anyone's hand, and I'll use lots of hand sanitizer all day. My worst fear now is getting someone else sick. I would feel so horrible if I did.
