Every part is painful... but at the same time worth it! Seeing a lock, seeing the ovulation, finding the eggs, candling the eggs, and finally seeing those heads pop out. Fun stuff!!

Thanks... last year the odds were a little against me, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed this year. I'm still hoping I can get some pewters this year, but my male hasn't been interested in my pastel female. If I don't, I might end up with some super pastels which is almost as nice. :)

That's the plan, gotta get those snakes here first thought...I wouldn't mind if we got rid of the 10-20 degree weather up here! Brrr! :P I prefer my snake room temp...a nice 78F.

Tell me about it. I'm doing a trade in MN for a couple of pastels, and we haven't been able to ship because of your sub-zero temps. :( No wonder there are so many reptile lovin' people up there. Just a great excuse to stay in a warm room! :D :sunny:

Things are pretty good, a little slower than I had hoped for as far as lock-ups, but I can't complain. We decided to give a few girls that laid last year the year off this time around, but this season should still be fairly productive. We have one gravid girl already, with a few not far behind, so I'm starting to get excited to see some eggies!!
