    snow amounts
so how many of you are in a pinch because of the heavy snowfall in the north east?

I'm in Minneapolis, and we have had a SEASON total of just under a foot.

anyone stuck in the nasty 10 foot snows, with yet more on its way?

I live is Massachusetts. Right now I'm in Eastern MA at school and we had RAIN yesterday...we've got zero snow on the ground. I called my parents--who are in Western MA, and they've got a little over a foot from this last storm. I guess it really varied.

I am in Central-West New Hampshire and we got between 18 and 24 inches. it's really hard to tell for sure because it drifted so much. I have a 6 foot tall drift covering all the windows on one side of my house :)

This is my firepit in my backyard, we have a 70 acre cornfield behind us so drifting is really bad back there.https://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil.../1/days001.jpg

Not much snow on Long Island, NY but we did get slammed with a really bad ice storm. Everything was covered in a sheet of ice. We had a few people at work who's car tires were frozen to the pavement, and I had my share or automobile ice capades on the way home.

Horrific here. I swear, mother nature is trying to wipe us off the planet here. We have about 3 feet, and on the roads you can't even see 4 feet in front of your car.. I am terrified every day to go to work..
I look at people's daily problems and laugh.. at least thank the stars that you can go to work and back without risking your life by merely being outside!

its pretty bad here. my back is constantly in pain from shoveling the driveway all the time. worse is from shoveling it on either side the snow has piled up about 5 ft high.

the army has no sympathy for weather. i run 4-6 miles a day on avg in this weather (0 to -15 f).. oh speaking of let me show you this awesome pic of what you look like after you run in -10. i look drunk but its from the coldness melting my brain with the added euphoria of endorphins from the run...http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...IMG00319-1.jpg

we got hit with about 20 inches or so here I think in the last week or so but can't complain as it's the first snowfall of the year. Ohio is silly they have snow level emergecies and the cops can ticket you for driving or maybe even arrest you in a level three.Shoot comming from nothern Michigan a level three here is a normal winter day there. My dad tells a story of when staioned in D.C durring vietnam where they closed down the bases when they got an inch of snow his commader asked him how he got in and was amazed when he said I drove he was told to drive home now. Rember the 79 inches we got up home on dec 23 a few years ago that was a storm. And There is nothing like being out in Graff on maneuvers durring december.
