Goodbye camera phone, Hello Nikon!

Welll here are some new pictures taken with my new Nikon Powershot...
I'm still learning the features so some of the pics didn't come out as good as I would have liked but they're still alot better than the pics from my phone lol.

I didn't want to disrupt these two too much so I left them alone...


So that's pretty much it for now...I'm going to be experimenting a bit with some of the settings and see what I can come up with. So far I love this camera though! Definetly a great purchase on my part. :D

When the snake is moving, use the flash. It will get rid of the 'blur' seen in some of the pictures.

You will get the hang of it eventually.....good looking first pictures.

Both pastels just shed and I LOVE the look of a freshly shed snake. :D

Well if you do you won't regret it! I've been way overdue for a digital camera. I just happened to find this one on craigslist barely used! No scratches or anything for a 3rd of the price new! :)

Argh; you people torture me yet again with pieds/het pieds. :)
Nice; the flash will definately make your pics less blurry. I stand a bit farther away from the snake, zoom a little, and take the pic that way so that the flash does not wash the picture out.

those pictures are really beautiful.... i know what i'm getting when i get my incom tax money... so i can show off my pictures of my snakes...

I'm working on it...I had thought I had lithium batteries but I didn't. Picked up 8 last night... Suprised on how long their life is... I was shooting all night last night.

who's the guy? just curious..

try a little more flash in the pics, adjust up or down by 1/3 ev until you get what you like. adjust the exposure by 1/2 stops works good too.

That little guy is a 100% het pied male produced right here at 8 Ball Pythons (www.8ballpythons.com) ... I sent him to Steven at no charge. Even though I make my living breeding and selling these animals, I do like to give back to the herping community that has given me sooo much.

He's actually a local Reptile and feeder breeder here in Tampa. He's real nice and a great guy as well... I really liked his ghost though... I'll probably end up getting a female ghost or a pair of het ghosts from him sometime.
