I think I'm going to go to Daytona this year!
I'm wondering how many people make the trip and from how far?

I'll be there in all my ridiculously stupid glory. Coming from NJ...

Me. I live about 2 hours drive. Haha. Not spectacular for me to attend.

Daytona is a blast ... we'll be there from Maryland ... if you make it, keep your schedule open for Saturday night ... we get together for a huge dinner and laughs now lovingly know as the "8 Ball Dinner" ... it's a blast!!!

Karl and I will be going again - most likely from Thursday to Monday, but we may make it down Wednesday. Driving from HOTlanta!


We wouldn't miss it! Karl asks me at LEAST 2 x a week about Daytona (he started asking in October! LOL) - I think he's more excited than I am, and he's not even the reptile lover in the household.

I think he's looking forward to hanging out with everyone again, he especially enjoyed Adam and Kelly!

Last year I made it out from Tucson, AZ....would be coming from San Antonio this year. We'll just have to wait and see. The thought of missing Robin, Karl, Kara, Adam, Kelly, Jamie, Nate, Mandy, Vaughn, Charmaine (Oh geez, I can't spell her name this morning! where's my coffee???) and all the rest....it's just killin' me! :( :( :(

The Daytona Hilton is totally booked for that week, so you'd better start making reservations at other hotels if you want to be close by!

We have a reservation at the daytona inn which is about 5 blocks from the hilton....I looked at the website for the Mayan Inn which is a little closer, but I wasn't sure about the look of the hotel from there. Anyone stay there before?

I stayed there last year. It's a little old, but still pretty nice. Not as luxurious as the Hilton, though. :P I'd stay there again this year, if I could go.

I will be attending... because I live 20 minutes south of Daytona in Edgewater. :P

Well, CraigC has posted in this thread that he's gonna have a table. And of course Kara/NERD will have a table. Sean of EBN and Justin Kobylka. Those are the ones that spring to mind at the moment. There may be others as well.

The only chance I have to go is if something magical happens and if not, I still love to see the pics from the show. We would have to make a week long vacation out of it thought, we havnt been on a vacation in about 6-7 years.

Everyone has to take cameras! The pics from last year is what got me to become involved with BPs. My wife and daughter wanted a snake for YEARS!!! Begged and pleaded with me. It wasn't until I ran into B-P.net and all the beautiful pics that won me over. Now, I think that Fluffy is one of the family.

If Adam buys me lots of drinks then you'll see "Vomitore" ... Haha whenever I drink a wee too much, I puke. Would be good pics for the site :D
