Ok, I know this is lame.. it's not a big deal bite or anything, but I thought it looked kinda 'artistic' with the snake ring and the blood (do I need help? ) so what did I do? Take pictures of course!

Oliver the new green annie really isn't a bad boy.. he's really very laid back. I just decided to take one glove off for a minute, and he took the opportunity to calmly bite and release.. LOL

LOL, it's so funny how whenever us herpers get bit, we run for the camera so we can post in on ball-pythons.net.

Yes.. anacondas are so silly, they always bite sideways.

Well today the bite turned purple.. and my finger's swelled up so I can't take the ring off.

Wicked cool!! I still have pain in my pinky finger after being bitten almost 3 months ago by my big boa.

Every time I've been bitten before, there is no pain after the first day or two. I guess I just haven't had anyone hit something like a tendon..

This bite is only slightly sore right now, and only when I bend my finger.

I know I try to get my wife to get a pic when one of my little ones descides that "Hey that finger look mighty tasty" WHACK!! and hold. But no she just starts shaking and says get it off. Understand I'm the one with the snake on my finger.

Haha.. yeah I've had that happen a few times with my kingsnakes (I guess I'm pretty tasty) but there's never anyone around to take a picture.. they look so cute when they do that.. this tiny snake trying to eat me. LOL

I once had an 8' burm bite and hold on to me too. That was interesting..

Is your Tetnus shot up to date? If not, it might be a good idea to get a booster. They are not only for rusty nails, but animal bites can carry tetnus.

Yes I just had my tetanus shot a few months ago. I'm a dog groomer so it's imperative that I'm up to date.

Ed - that bite was indeed very interesting.. not only for the fact that it happened in front of a group little girls.. Brownies to be exact. They were a bit surprised.
