    Ball Python Needs Home
I'm giving away my ball python, Chico...He's a little over 2 years old and just needs a new owner who will take care of him. I'm in Southern California so let me know if you've got any questions. I'd rather not ship, just so you know.

He's bigger than that now, but it's still a good pic of him. I'll have new ones soon.

I've wanted a bearded dragon but I've had Chico for awhile. I love him but I decided to give him up since I'm not able to keep him and have a beardie. So I'm just lookin for someone who's gonna take care of him...I don't need money outta the deal.

Me and a couple people are still deciding on whether or not we would wanna ship him, but if I had my preference, I'd rather not. And my last post says why I'm givin him away.

Remember before you ship you need to be certified to ship animals.

Murrieta, California. It's about 7-hours away from Frisco. My city's roughly half way between Los Angeles and San Diego.

Nice looking snake. I wouldn't ship it, either. You're doing the right thing by choosing a new owner on this Web site--I think your chances of finding it a good home are pretty good. Be picky about a new owner, though. That nice of a snake deserves the best.

If I were you I'd think long and hard about getting another animal if you did not have the commitment to keep this one... just my two cents.

If I could keep him, I would. I don't have the room for it. I took him in while lookin for a beardie...I saw him and wanted to help the guy out cuz he was such a cool snake I woulda felt bad cuz he woulda ended up with some crazy little kid that wanted him. Took care of him since he was 2 months old till now. He's an awesome snake but I really want my beardie and wont be able to keep both. If I didn't care about Chico, I'd just dump him off at the local pet store and be done with it...But, since I can't keep him, I want him to go to a good owner who I know is gonna take care of him. So honestly if you still think I'm not "committed" then there's nothin I can do about it, but I honestly don't care as long I'm able to get him a good home.

That's understandable... perhaps if you expressed that you were providing it a "foster home" it would help everyone understand the situation better.

You got jokes, that's a crack-up. Ay if you've got some problem with me for whatever reason, I could give a rip. But unless you've got some serious question that has to do with my snake, feel free to leave my topic. I'm tryin to get Chico a new home...If you don't have any interest or positive input, then what is it you here for?

Good luck finding him a home! Best of Luck! :sunny:

I find what you are doing very noble. Other people just leave them at a local pet store or throw them in the trash.

Woah turbo, i wasn't trying to make fun of anybody, i just thought it was funny when you said "some crazy little kid" when you name was loco4life. I don't see myself how what i said could be taken as negative, i was only meaning to make a little laughter, sorry if you took it as me being negative. I dont like how text is often taken wrong, not that it's your fault but it's alot harder to distinguish between sarcasim, crtisism, or just being freindly. If you want a question, why did you say "i dont have the room". Are you saying you dont have room to have a bp and a beardie or that you dont have the room to keep them both, cuz a beardie will take up just as much room.

I actually thought that was pretty funny. Just making a joke on his screen name, lord knows a bunch of us have some weird screen names. I don't think it was meant to slam the GUY, just making a funny at the juxaposition of words. You know, Loco vs crazy.
Bust basically you've decided you'd rather have a bearded dragon, so you're getting a new home for your ball python right? Hope you have good luck finding a new good home! There are a bunch of folks on here that would make SUPERB homes! Just gotta find one nearby to get him.
    He's a pretty boy.

My bad, I thought you were being sarcastic or somethin...Guess I just read into it wrong. Anyways, as for your question...I don't have room for both. I keep Chico in my 60 gallon tank, which is all I reallyh have room for. So yeah, my beardie will be going in that tank.
