Beautiful bunch there.. but the suriname takes the cake. I am a sucker for a gorgeous BCC tail. :) How big is he/she?

That Suri's tail is amazing ... that's a lot of red

She is a late 2004 and is pushing about four feet right now. Good little girl too. I'm in the process now of trying to obtain a 05 Sok.Suriname Red from Gus Wrentfro but he's pretty impossible to get a straight answer from. She is a beautiful looker, I will have to admit too.

Where can I get one of thise suriname boa's? I really like that last one. What is the difference in that one and the first one? I am new sorry :)...

I think the normal/het albino is gorgeous... and yes, she has a VERY nice tail :) I'm a sucker for the pretty normals...

They're all gorgeous...I love Suri's (duh) but that salmon hypo is dreamy as well...

You can find Suri's lotsa of places...both April and I have Suri's from LLLReptile...Gus at RioBravoReptiles.com also has Suri's (sorry to hear you're having trouble with him, Jimi =P)...I found several breeders just by googling "surinam" and "breeder", etc...

The first animal is a morph of a Columbian boa, aka BCI or boa constrictor imperator aka normal boa...the Surinam is a locality boa from, you guessed it, the country of Surinam and is a slightly different species known as BCC or boa constrictor constrictor. BCC generally get bigger than BCI and have "peaks" in their saddles (the dark blotches that cross over the back), whereas BCI's saddles don't have peaks or points...

And never feel sorry to ask questions - that's what we're all here for - to learn from each other. =)

LOL thank you for clearing that up for me...I should probably start my own thread about my questions...I think thats what IM going to do.

I grabbed that beauty off Mike @ Basically Boas. Great guy with top notch boas. I've heard iffy things about lllreptile and their boas, but I've never bought anything off from them to verify that. I've heard of lots of people having major difficulties with RI's after buying from them. If I remember correctly, April and Cass both did too. Could be related to the place and could not :confused: Those two aren't the only ones I've heard about with issues with healthy boas, but who knows. Good luck!

From what I hear, its well worth the wait

I've gotten 5 snakes from LLL, and NO problems whatsoever. I'm a very happy customer of theirs.

Could of swore you had a bad case of RI's not too long ago, but maybe I was wrong :D

None of the LLL snakes were sick. I had 4 come down with RI. All were treated with fortaz and they're fine.

Ok, but I've heard of too many people that had a RI epidemic after ordering from them for myself to feel comfortable. Also, don't they deal in distribution? I don't think they actually breed any of them, do they? I like to know the whole history with bloodlines whenever I buy a snake from anyone and I KNOW they don't do that. Just my 2 cents though.

My RI problem didn't occur soon after me getting anything from them.. I have no reason to belive I got anything from their snakes.

Just my experience.. but I've been very pleased with them.
