My New Girl

Well I just went in form mice and rats and ended up leaving with this girl, she is amazing. She is puppy tame, didnt even flinch when she was getting probed(I was expecting to get nailed at that point). Here she is climbing up my arm.
She is about 2 1/2' -3' long.

You were being awfully optimistic if you thought you could get out with only the rodents. :giggle: What a beautiful girl. That irridesence is just amazing. :love:

What really sold me on her was how docile she was, this being a species not known for being the calmest snake.

I must confess that this is also the first time I have bought a snake with knowing very little about them or their care, but setting her up wasnt any trouble at all.

Oh man am I jealeous. Ive wanted a WL for a loooooong time - where on earth did you find this girlie? A pet shop? Excellent find, they aren't usually all that nice to humans! lolShe's gorgeous, congrats!

She is a white lip python

never heard of them,but nice snake all the same, loving the colour.whats it like temperment wise?

she is a totaly puppy but thats not the norm for them and I'm sure it took the previous owner alot of work to get her this way.

Glad I was snooping around this forum other than the morelia section. I'm with everyone else with congrats on that find from a petstore. I have become very interested in WL's recently and enjoy hearing from all your experiences. Tame, hopefully she stays that way.

Man I want a WL now!! Everytime a see a picture of a snake I'm always going "Oooo, Thats a nice snake I want one of those." This is no exception!

Thanks for the comments, she is a awsome snake, now I will admit she is very cage defensive, but if you simply reach in and grab her she will come out totaly calm. her only other falt is she doesnt deal well with others around her so if its me and her its great, but I cant take her out at a display animal at all, but knowing your snakes limits makes for all the better keeping exp.
